Cameron's POV
"Afternoon. What would you like?" asks the cashier at Starbucks. "I'll have a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, and..Liz?" I say looking at Liz. Liz looked up from her phone to me and said, "I'll have a Caramel Frappuccino with extra caramel." Then, she looked back to her phone.

We got our drinks, and sat down at the table. "Liz, are you alright?" I asked puzzled by her sudden change in mood. "Well, I mean, normally I wouldn't skip class. I just feel kinda guilty." She said quietly. "Oh..that makes sense." I replied. I felt bad because I was the one who talked her into it. Then, she looked up, and said, "But...I kinda like the feel of it, so don't feel bad about taking me out." She smiled and continued sipping from her drink. "Why'd your mom decide to move instead of just getting a divorce?" I asked. She paused and answered, "There would've been too much to latch onto back in Manhattan. My mom would've crawled back to my father...I think she knew what she was doing for once." I laughed and said, "I guess she did." Then, I got a text. It was from my friend, Nash.

Hey man!! You comin to Magcon in Atlanta right??! We miss you dude!!

I didn't know how to respond, and how would I tell Liz I'd be gone for a little while? I could bring her along, but there's always her mom saying no to that...I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask. I typed back:

Me: Yeah, but I'm bringing a girl along alright? Well, not just some girl..my girlfriend, but yeah, I'll be there.

Nash replied pretty quickly, and his reaction was priceless.

Nash: DUDE!! Your girlfriend?! Of course, she can come!! What's she look like?

I slightly lifted my phone, and snapped a picture of Liz sipping her coffee and looking outside. She looked gorgeous..

Nash: She's a 10 man. Can't wait to meet her.

Liz looked back at me and asked, "Who ya texting?" I laughed and replied, "You know Nash Grier, right?" She nodded, and I said, "I was talking to him, and speaking of that, how would you like to join me for Magcon in Atlanta?" Her eyes widened and she answered, "I'd love to!! Oh my god! But...what if my mom says no?" I smirked and said, "Don't worry. She'll say yes." With that, we went back to school, and I was ready to ask her mom and aunt about taking her with me to Magcon.
