House Hunting

Elizabeth's POV

All night, I was browsing websites for houses in the Los Angeles area. It was hard seeing some gorgeous mansions out of our 3.5 million price range. I wanted to go look at them even though some were 7-10 million dollars just because of how pretty they were. Finally, I found three houses in the LA area or near Venice Beach.

I got out of bed, showered, and got dressed, then headed to Cam's with the house addresses. Once I got there, we all got in the car and headed out to look. "Which one are we going to first?" Carter asked. I pulled out the three addresses from my bag and handed them to Nash in the front seat with Cam. "Ooh, I like this one." He said showing Cam a white mansion a few blocks from Venice Beach. "Alright. What's the address?" Cam asked. "2980 Strongs Dr Venice, California 90291." Nash replied. Cam quickly typed the address into his phone, and continued driving.

When we reached the house, the real estate agent was parked outside. "Hi, my name is Loraine. Welcome to California." She said smiling. We all waved and said hello, and she then asked, "Are you from another state or..?" Cam laughed and said, "I'm the only native. The others have moved here recently." Loraine nodded then lead us inside the house. The house was nice, but it wasn't my favorite, and by the look on Cam's face, he didn't think it was the best either. I walked over to him and said, "What do you think?" He looked up and said, "Um..it's a nice place, but I'm not really in love with it.What about you?" I smiled and answered, "I don't really love it." Then, Nash and Carter came over and said, "Where to next?" I grabbed another address from my bag, and handed it to Cam. "Los Angeles. Let's go." He said nodding his head.

We reached the second house and my mouth dropped. It was stunning. I got out the car and tapped Cam. He looked at me and I said, "Can I live here?" He laughed and walked inside with me. The whole house was amazing, but it was 250 thousand dollars over our price.. Loraine approached Cam and asked, "What do you think?" Cam sighed and answered, "Well, it's a little out of the price range, but we'll think about it." I smiled and then I got a text. I checked my phone, and immediately my emotion went from happy to angry. I turned around and walked out to the car. "Liz, you okay?" Nash asked. "I'm fine. I'm in the car." I answered walking out. All I wanted was to enjoy today, but the text ruined everything!
