Chapter 7

I was up bright and early the next morning still feeling a little sore from yesterday but I was fine. Uma was still sleep and I had learned that she always slept in and if you woke her up she will personally raise hell. As if this island isn't hell itself.

I get ready to get into the shower when I hear the tappping noise on the window again. I grabbed my sword and moved the blinds out the way and I see nothing. I open the window and look down seeing this group of kids who looked around our age.

"Hey mate." One of them said.

"Who the hell are you and why are you knocking on my window."

They all stay silent and I draw my sword then they start talking.

"We are are a gang of pirates but we wanted to join Uma's crew." One says. This girl walks up to me.

"Hey aren't you the new girl around this island? Why are you in Uma's room?"

"Becasue we are cousins. Why are you all in my business."

"No need to get all defensive I was just asking a simple question." She holds her hands up.

"Go away. I can''t believe any of you thought that you would be able to join Uma's crew by disturbing her and knocking on her window."

"Are you even in her crew?" The same nosy girl questioned.

"Yes I am."

"How come I never see you hang out with them then?"

"How come even though I told you not to you are still all in my personal business. All of you scram. You can talk to Uma alone." I get ready to close the window.

"And don't any of you ever knock on this window again or else you will be swimming with killer sharks." I warn. "And you-

The nosy girl turns around. "My name is Yasmin, the daughter of Ysma."

"Yeah I didn't ask you so therefore I don't care. I just wanted to tell you if you ever try and question me again there will be hell to pay."

"You think you are scaring people? If you wanna threaten me we can do this face to face." She tells me before walking off. She was about to go down.

I bet Uma would be so happy to hear about all of this. This girl was about to be shark bait.

"Happy thoughts, happy thoughts." I whisper to myself before getting into the shower. I made sure to dry my hair and braid it perfectly and wear another pirate outfit that I had got from my stepmom.

I start the morning shift for Uma since she did mine last night.

"Hey! I asked for french fries and fried fish! You gave me a baked potato and fish that wasn't even fully cooked."

"And I asked for pearls but did i get that? No!" I yell.

"Well aren't you just the best employee of the month? Harry says sarcastically taking food from yet another person.

"And aren't you just a greedy little runt taking everyone else's food?" i ask with the same sarcasm dripping from my voice.

"So. Are you ready?" Gil slides into a seat in front of me pushing someone else out and not caring. What is up with these isle of the lost kids shoving other people out there seats?

"Duh why would I not be ready? I mean I'm going to finally be apart of this-

The pipes chime alerting that someone was coming in and I look up seeing Yasmin. We both look at each other. She walks over to me.
