Part sixteenLater that day
Raquel walked into Ms Tate, classroom there she saw her mom in some tight jeans and a tight shirt revealing the rim of her big breast. Rochelle sat there looking over at Raquel as she sat next to her looking forward at Ms. Tate who was talking about Raquel's slipping grades. " I don't know why her grades are slipping ma'am I do the best I could to provide for her and get her to study and do her work every night but she so hard headed that She does what she wants." Rochelle lied. Raquel rolled her eyes as Rochelle rant about her. "She is a very smart student, And I see full potential in her," Ms Tate said looking over at Raquel. "You sure everything is okay with you Raquel, if anything you know you could come to me or your mom I could bring in a counselor to talk to you" Ms Tate assure. "No, she don't need no damn Counselor, she not crazy!' Rochelle shout out. "Oh no, I'm sorry Ma'am for the misunderstanding, counseling doesn't mean she crazy, it's just away for her to feel comfortable to talk about what she can't with others" Ms Tate correct herself. " Well she don't need to talk to no counselor." Rochelle said in a defensive tone. Last thing Rochelle need is Raquel going to anybody about what goes on in their house. " Well Raquel anytime you need to talk about anything you could come to me" Ms Tate could sense Rochelle getting defensive, feeling like something wasn't right. "Can I leave now?" Raquel asked with a slightly annoyed attitude. "Yeah we're done here," Rochelle said getting up to leave. Raquel wanted to say something but what would that do for her, they’d throw her in foster care and she’d be more miserable than she already was, worse of all she’d lose her only friend, Keysha. No one understood Raquel better than Keysha and she didn’t want that connection to ever go away.
