Later that day

A few hours had passed since Keysha heard the news and cried herself to sleep. She woke up wiping the crust from her eyes. Looking around her room. She heard silence throughout the house as she got up walking around observing the place. She was hoping what happened earlier was just a dream but when she saw Cordel car in the driveway she knew it wasn't. She felt her anger arise all over again. Taking her coat and leaving out the house. She walked to Riopelle were she knew her friend Donnie would be. Keysha hardly ever went to Raquel's house because of her mother so they would always meet up at Derby hill to hang out. But today she felt the need to go see Donnie. She knew he would make her feel better anytime they got around each other it seemed like all the negative in their life would disappear. Keysha knocked on the door waiting for someone to answer. "What you want little girl" Donnies eleven year old sister Bonnie said laughing. Hey sis is Donnie here? "You know his doodie head butt upstairs" Bonnie said laughing again. Where your mom and uncle Lonnie? "They went out to eat, they'll be back later on. I guess big head upstairs watching Tv. Bonnie rolled her eyes. Keysha chuckled as Bonnie made her way back to her room. Keysha opened Donnie door making her way upstairs.
