Keysha sat around the house feeling bored out of her mind. Sean was still in school, so she had no one at home to talk too.She knew Raquel would be looking for her at school but she would just tell her what happened the next time she saw her. "Okay I tried" Keysha said putting her coat back on and heading out the door. It was mid-january and the weather was surprisingly good reaching fifty degrees. Keysha walked everywhere she needed to go. She was only thirteen so she couldn't drive on her own and she barely knew how to catch the bus unless she was with somebody else. Keysha walked a few blocks until she made it to Riopelle street. She stopped in front of a small white brick house, walking up to the door knocking. "Hey Keysha what you doing here?" Janice asked. Hey god moma is Donnie here? "Yeah, he upstairs, but that still didn't answer my question lil girl" Janice said. I got suspended from school for a day for fighting. Who you up there fighting? THis girl, Keysha said. She folded her arms, frowning her lips. You don't need to be up in school fighting, you go there to get an edumacation! Keysha rolled her eye's walking away from her godmother. I know I know! My mom already gave me the same speech. "Oh so your moma know you here?" Janice asked. Keysha looked up at Janice with innocent eyes. No she don't, please, please, please don't tell her. Keysha asked putting her hands in front of her face in the prayer position. Girl gone somewhere, you know I'm not gonna say nothing. "Thank you, thank you" Keysha said turning around rushing upstairs to Donnie room.
