They began stealing at a real young age. Stealing food, clothes and anything they needed in the house like toilet paper, dishwashing liquid even spoons and forks. Anika noticed and asked the kids were everything was coming from. Keysha lied saying Her friend Raquel's mom was giving her things because she knew what they were going through and Sean would tell his mom that he was working jobs on the street like raking grass, shoveling snow and helping old ladies with their bags etc. Not that any of that wasn't true because it was partially true, it's just these days nobody wanted to pay someone else what they could do themselves​ in the hood and if they do they don't pay much. Keysha never messed with Raquel mom and know for a fact if she wasn't helping her own daughter out she wasn't going to help her out. Anika stayed at both jobs majority of the day into the afternoon so she was barely home. So they were able to do as they pleased, so long as they were home before Anika got in from work.
