"I want you."

Letting out a desperate whimper as the clear, deep voice caresses my ears, I swirl around in the darkness and frantically search for those ruby eyes, which peer out from the shadows with kindness radiating from their burning depths.

"Wolf-Horan," I breathe his name as I step towards those loving eyes before flinching and swirling around when I hear the same clear, deep voice assault my ears.

"I don't need your pity, Styles."

Swiftly backing away from the frozen sapphires glaring at me from the shadows, I quickly turn around when the same voice reaches out from the shadows and kisses my ears.

"I crave you."

Shivers of pleasure rippled down my body when I connect with gentle red eyes again, but, once more, the icy voice forcefully yanks my attention away from those loving flames.

"It's hard enough dealing with this thing between us."

I immediately flinch away from the harsh tone and cruel words while letting out a chocked sob when I feel the coarse sting of tears burning my eyes and blurring my darkened vision.

"I desire you."

Whipping around in a semi-circle, the tears fade away when I notice the adoration emitting from red eyes. A wide and dimpled smile curls along the corners of my lips as I take a step towards the gaze that gives me comfort and security before freezing and twirling around when heated words pierce my back like poisoned arrows.

"I don't need the added burden of having to watch over you!"

The tears return with vengeance and immediately spill over my eyelids and slide down my cheeks when I examine the blue eyes glaring out from the shadows. I flinch back when I noticed the hate reflected in the frozen pools.

"I want to love you..."

Shoving my fist in my mouth to muffle my sob, I collapse and lower my head until it was cradled between my thighs as the opposing voices continued to war for my attention.

"Stop," I silently beseeched to no particular person. The tears quicken their pace as anguish crashes into me, and it drags me deeper and deeper into the dismal depths. "Please just just stop."

"Love? Wake up to the real world, Styles: love doesn't exist!"

"Stop it," Taking out my fist, I scrub at the never-ending tears while biting my lip to muffle the agonized sobs quaking my body as I continued to plead for mercy. " Please, please just stop it."

"It's just a myth,"

"It's not!" I violently refute as I cover my ears and clench my eyes, trying to shut out his cold voice. "It's not! Just, Just shut up!"

"...a fairytale,"

"It's real! It is," Protesting against the voice that still echoed in my ears even though my hands were as tough as iron barriers, I tightly clench my eyes shut when blue eyes suddenly appears behind my closed eyelids.

"...to get fools like you to believe there's happiness in this dirty filthy world."

"Shut up! Just shut up!" My body shakes and tremble in alignment with the sobs violently falling from my parted and wavering lips. "It's not! It's not!"
