"Never!" Emerald eyes snap to Lou as he clings to his Queen sized mattress while glaring at Liam's exasperated countenance.

"Louis, you need to    let it go,"    Liam attempts to reason with Lou - which is an impossible task, though Harry admires Liam's persistence - as he grasps the beloved mattress that had started their bickering.

"No!" Lou growls as he yanks the furniture from Liam's hands. "Unlike    you    who brings barely any thing,     I      have every intention of bringing my comforts with me!"

"It's called    downsizing,"    Liam snarls as his patience, which had endured their bickering for too long, finally crumbles before he begins prying Lou's hands away from the mattress. "You can't possibly fit a Queen sized mattress here!"

Here refers to the apartment building they were renting a room in before classes started next week. Although not modern or new by any means, the red brick building is cozy with bright LED lights illuminating the interior.

"They have been at it for an hour now," Zayn whines as he passes Harry and pulls open one of the double doors. "I don't think I can take much more."

"You better get used to it," Niall remarks as he grabs the two remaining cardboard boxes from Harry's car, which mum and Robin gave him as a graduation present, before pausing next to Harry, "because you'll be living with them for the next year."

Blue eyes gleam with mirth as Zayn's groan of despair - and Harry definitely heard his grumble of "barely able to deal with them these last three months" and how could he "possibly be expected to deal with it for a year" - before eyeing the box Harry held in his hands, "Do you want me to take that, babe?"

"I am quite capable of carrying a meager box, Ni," Harry rolls his eyes before brushing his arms against his mate's bare arms.

"I don't know about that, love," Emerald eyes narrow as Niall's voice takes on a teasing tone. "You've been standing there just holding it for a while, now."

"It's called smelling the flowers," Harry retorts as he smirks at the euphonious chuckles racking Niall's body.

"Whatever you say, dear," Niall's flippancy instantly earns him a swat, but all that earns Harry is an impish grin before the Alpha strides into the building.

"Lou, Li," Harry calls, which interrupts the argument as they both turn their attention towards him, "you can argue about what should and should not be done    inside.    "

"Yes Harry," Both obediently, if not reluctantly, follow Harry's order as Liam helps Lou carry the last item in.

A giggle dashes off Harry's lips as he shakes his head at his pack's antics before following the members into the building and up the elevator. Fortunately, they were able to rent a room on the second floor, so it doesn't take long for the pack to flood into their new residence.

It's hard not to smile as Harry gazes at his gleeful family all ready unpacking their items, and it's even harder not to realize the thing - being a Werewolf; being an    Omega    - that had once caused him so much agony has led to the best things in his life.

With dimples adorning his cheeks as his smile widens, Harry kicks their front door close without a backward glance.

After all, who needs the past when the future's right in sight?
