12 - five guys whom you find attractive.
Amber grunted loudly as soon as Kyla's hand hit her face. Amber knew she shouldn't be annoyed considering Kyla was asleep and was not aware of what was happening around her at this point, but she couldn't help blame Kyla even if she wasn't one of the reasons to her sudden frustration.
She thought about her messed up family, her messed up hair that made the back of her neck humid, and her messed up sleeping schedule, and let out another groan that sounded remotely close to someone who had just been shot.
Luckily, Kyla was a heavy sleeper. She wouldn't wake up at Amber's constant groaning.
Amber sat up straight, knowing she probably wouldn't fall asleep. She looked over at Kyla, who was peacefully, but not silently, sleeping - just like any other normal person would at this hour.
A smile made its way to Ambers lip as she absorbed the beautiful sight of a sleeping Kyla. Today marked their one year anniversary. Last year, on this day, a very nervous Amber met Kyla in social studies, and was immediately struck by the amazing personality she was carrying.
On that day, Amber knew she would get along well with Kyla - and they did. Even when they didn't have classes, they kept hanging around each other and Kyla even introduced Amber to her friends.
Her friends were as welcoming, just like she was. They were five - Kyla Mccan, Celine Boutin, Jacob Mccan , Rob Jones ,and Jay Carpenter.
Jacob was Kyla's twin brother and it was crazy how much they looked alike. The only difference they had, were their height and of course, their gender. Personality wise, Jacob was more of a leaned back and adventurous guy whereas Kyla has to be pushed to take chances and can be stubborn sometimes, but that didn't stop her from getting closer to Amber.
Celine was this beautiful blonde girl, who has an amazing singing voice and major fashion skills, and right behind her was Rob, her boyfriend. Rob was in a band, and was amazing at playing the guitar and drums. Rob would be the owner of the house Amber was currently staying in. Last night was his birthday and because his house was on the other side of town, he decided to just host a sleepover as well, and naturally, Amber would get invited.
Last one up is Jay. Jay used to be Amber's enemy. They used to attend the same kindergarten, the same elementary school - until he moved away to another town. Apparently, Jay is the closest to Jacob, and they had been best friends for as long as anyone can remember. He had kept in touch with Jay all this time while he was away, and as soon as he acme back for middle school, it was as if his bestfriend hadn't left at all.
He's known to be very arrogant, and self centered, and even intimidating at some points, but once Amber got to know him better, he wasn't all that bad.
Sure, he liked to live in his own little bubble - just like she preferred, Refraining from letting anyone in, to break down her thick walls - but just like her, around his friends, he couldn't look any happier.
The house was quiet, the only sound coming from Kyla's lips. Celine and Jacob were sleeping in the other room, while Rob slept in his own room. Jay told everyone he could take the couch, but he probably snuggled into Robs room.
Nonetheless, Amber found herself taking her phone down from the nightstand and tap on his name until a message box was apparent.
