Ch.11 The Blizzard

As Marshall was about to leave, the canine listening in finally speaks out.

???: "Stop right there!"

Marshall: "What the- Who are you?"

???: "My name is Everest, but Chase here already knows that."

Chase: "I do?"

Everest: "Wait, you don't remember me? We met at the park a couple hours ago!"

Chase: "Oh! Yeah, you're the girl that likes to hide in bushes."

Everest: "Wha- No, I don't!"

Marshall: "So, you don't hide in bushes?"

Everest: "Well, I did but that doesn't matter right now!"

Chase: "Yeah, why are you here?"

Everest: "I just decided to stop by and see how you and Skye were doing that's all."

Marshall: "Oh great, another Chase stan." He says dryly.

Everest: "Don't even compare me to the other girls. What was your name again? Martian? Martin? Marcell?"

Marshall : "It's Marshall, but why do you care?"

Everest: "Well I would like to help you extend the deal."

Chase: "I don't like the sound of that, Marshall don't listen to her."

Everest: "What makes you think it's a bad thing already?"

Chase: "You're in it." He remarks bitterly.

Everest: "Rude. It's not even your choice. It depends on Marcell here."

Marshall: "It's Marshall and I think I've seen you somewhere before."

Everest: "I have gone to the Lookout a bunch of times but don't ask why and you want to know what I want or not?"

Marshall: "It's pretty obvious."

Chase: "What's obvious?"

Everest: "You're really cute when you're clueless."

Chase: "What?"

Marshall: "Moving on! What makes you think you're going to get it?"

Everest: "Here, I'll tell you both."

The Husky whispers her plan to both of them.

Marshall: "Wow, you're bold."

Chase: "I'm not doing that!"

Marshall: "Hey you owe me remember?"

Chase keeps quiet, but glares at Everest.

Everest: "I'll guess I'll see both of you later." She says running off.

Marshall: "You better not mess up this new plan for me or else." He warns then walks away.

Chase's Thoughts

Great, just great. Now the plan just got more complicated! What am I going to tell-

Skye: "Heyyyy, I'm back! Did you miss me?" She laughs.

Chase: "Oh, uh, hey, Skye."

Her smile fades.

Skye: "Are you okay? You seem kind of nervous about something."

Chase: "I'm fine. I'm just nervous about finally telling you about the blizzard and maybe something else."

Skye: "What was the last part?"
