ADELAIDE'S POV

I got ready for my date, and I put on a purple t-shirt, high waisted jean shorts, and some tan flats. I curled my hair, and put a little bit of lipstick.

Then I got a text,

J: What happened to staying away?
A: Oh yeah. I heard you two broke up.
J: Why?
A: Why what? Why did I hear that?
J: No. Why do you hate me? I don't get it, the only time I had ever been mean to you was yesterday. But even then all I was doing, was trying to protect what was mine.
A: J, I don't hate you, and I'm sorry he broke up with you, but that's not my issue.

She didn't text me back, so I went down the stairs and grabbed my purse. I then filled it, with the essentials; chapstick, lipstick, and mints. I started to think about my life, about our old friendship. When I wasn't as good friend, as she thought.

If only Jane knew...

*flashback*

In eighth grade, I lost my virginity. To the one and only Myles, during that year we had a kind of relationship, if you could have it in eighth grade. And we would walk to my house every day after school.

On the last day of school, we decided that we loved each other enough, to give our V-cards to each other. So we did, and then everyday after school, it almost became an addiction to each other.

I knew then in ninth grade, while I was under him, and he was kissing my neck, that we weren't right for each other. It wasn't right what we did.

The next year:

I had set up Myles and Jane a month ago. And I was scrolling through twitter, when the doorbell. I went downstairs, and opened the door, to not only see Myles, but also Jane.

"Hey guys."

"Hey, we just wanted to go over a couple of little things for prom."

No, I wasn't going to prom with them, or anything like that. But I was head of the decorating committee. Yeah, I was that type of loser.

(A/N Don't be offended if you are head of the decorating committee, I was just going by stereotypes. I think decorating committee, takes a lot of hard work! And that you guys are so awesome and amazing!)

"Okay, uh. Come in." I said, opening the door more for them to get in.

They walked in, hand in hand. It broke my heart, to pieces. Though we were a fling, I didn't know if it was love or just my addiction to him. But it broke my heart, they broke my heart.

We sat on the couch, and talked about prom. Mostly what ideas they both had, and by both of them, I mean Jane, and then Myles just agreeing.

It had been about an hour, until,

"I have to use the bathroom." Jane said.

The six words that lead to a lot more of my bad decisions.

"Yeah, it's upstairs first door on the left." I said.

And with that I was alone, with Myles, on the couch. Where we had done it before,

"This brings back memories huh?" He chuckled,
