A couple days later...

ASH'S POV

It has been exactly three days, and they still haven't found her. The police say 'they are doing ALL they can do.' But so far I'm not seeing any results. So it's my turn to look.

ADELAIDE'S POV

Everyday, three times a day, Myles would come downstairs, and force me to have sex with him. I don't think, if I ever do get saved, I will be able to walk again. This was the last time of the day, and I heard his heavy steps. My breath became shaky, I was so done I wanted to go home. I wanted to be in Ash's arms, I wanted to be meeting his family.

"I'm back." He said, as a tear fell from my eye.

"Oh, don't cry. I just want to live you, let me show you how much I love you angel." He said, wiping the tear away.

He slowly cupped my face, and kissed my lips. As his lips were against mine, he tried to put his tongue in my mouth. I kept my lips closed, I refused to have this again. I haven't given up hope that somebody would get me. And I wouldn't be found, while I let myself go.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Ash yelled,

Myles turned around, and smirked.

"Or what?" He said, just to test Ash.

Ash stood there, not really knowing what he 'would do'

"That's what I thought, just stay out of my way, and enjoy the show." Myles threw at Ash.

Myles ripped my white dress off, leaving me in my lacey bra and underwear. Myles got close and kissed my neck, I felt a tear roll down my cheek. It didn't hurt, but I wanted to leave. I looked at Ash. Who thankfully found a chair, which he then threw, with all his might, onto Myles. Myles groaned and then fell on me. I felt dizzy, and Ash picked me up bridal style. I leaned my head on his shoulder, and I felt my eyes get droopy.

"ADELAIDE!" He yelled, and that was the last thing I heard.

I felt warm, I felt happy. I was at peace, knowing that I fell in love again, I became friends with Jane again, that I told her the truth, and that my one true love rescued me. That he loved me too...

ASH'S POV

I felt her head rest on my shoulder, and as I looked at her she looked asleep. Except I couldn't feel her breathing again.

"ADELAIDE!" I screamed,

I left the building and got into my car. I pulled out my phone and called 9-1-1. Within minutes they were here, with paramedics. The police arrested Myles, and they took away Adelaide, on a stretcher. She's dead, and it was all my fault, if I never had left that day, she wouldn't be dead.

"WHY DID I DO IT?!" I screamed, in front of the abandoned building.

"Why did you let me leave?" I cried to God.

I tear slipped down my cheek, and I called her mom.

'Hello, Ash.'

"Sh-She's d-d-d-"

I couldn't pull myself together to tell her.

'No, I refuse to believe it... Where is she? What hospital?'

"She's at Apostle Hospital."

(A/N sorry it rhymed, and I just loved it.)

She then hung up on me, and I got into my car. I started to drive, to the hospital. Once I got there, her mom was already there, and she was crying really hard. I knew it she was dead.

"What's wrong?" I asked,

"They said she was in very critical condition, and there is not a lot they can do." She cried,

"That can't be right..." Was all I could say.

I clenched my jaw, this couldn't be happening. I wouldn't let it, I love her too much for her to die. She wasn't ready to die, I know she wasn't. I fell to my knees,

"Mrs. Rians, what are you doing here?" Jane asked,

"Jane, honey." Mrs. Rians sniffled.

"What? Did they find her? Can I tell her something? What room is she in?" Jane started rushing to the hall, but I stopped her.

"You can see her, but it'll be a one-way conversation." I said.

"No... she's not. No, I don't believe it." She said, she went into my arms, and I embraced her.

"We don't know, J." I whispered to her.

We all three of us, sat in waiting room chairs, and we called people. Her dad showed up, along with Jane's mom, and then my family came up.

"How is she?" Darrell asked,

"In critical condition." I replied.

The Stellar's were my mom's side of the family.

"I'm so sorry, Ash." Emalynn said, pulling me in for a hug.

I hugged her back,

"It's okay." I said, into her hair.

I then exchanged hugs with everyone else. We were all sitting there in silence, until Emalynn tapped my shoulder.

"Hmm?" I asked,

"We met her already." She said.

"What? When?"

"She went to San Francisco, remember that? Well, my dad found her stranded outside alone. Then we took her in for a day, and well, you have a keeper."

"Thanks."

"Do you realize how lucky you are?" Tina added,

"More than anything." I replied.

I loved everything about that girl, the way she drove me crazy in love every time she looked at me. Or when we're in the car, how she rolls down the window and puts her hand out of the car to feel the wind. The way her brown eyes light up when I say the word 'adventure' How loving and caring she is, and I don't know what I'm actually going to do without her. Another tear escaped my eye, and I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked over at my shoulder, and there was nothing there. That's when the doctor came out,

"She's gone." He said, that's when I knew it was my angel that had her hand on my shoulder.

"No." I heard Jane mutter, and she leaned to me, and I just held her.

I felt the hand come off my shoulder, and I knew my angel on earth, was now the angel in heaven.

"I love you." I whispered into the air.
