ADELAIDE'S POV
As we sat in the car, in silence, I just couldn't get what happened out of my head. Once we got to the mansion, I packed up whatever I took out. I heard someone knock on the door,
"Go away Jane!" I yelled,
"I'm not Jane, it's just Oscar." Oscar said, walking in.
"Oh, I'm sorry for yelling."
"It's okay Ms. Rians, but if you don't mind me asking, why are you mad at Ms. Gritton?"
I sighed.
"Oscar, I'm sorry, but I can't tell you. Only because this is really personal to me."
"I understand, would you like to eat something before you leave?"
"I guess."
"What would you like?"
"Some fudge."
"Okay, I'll be back."
Then he left, and then Jane walked in.
"Hey..." she said,
I stayed silent.
"Okay, I get that you're angry at me, but what I don't get is WHY you are angry at me. So just tell me, why are you angry at me?"
I stood up,
"Maybe it was because I was ACTUALLY having a great time with you. ONLY to find out that MY dad was sleeping with YOUR mom, but of course, you knew that. Didn't you?! I thought we could actually become friends again, I really thought you changed. But NO, there was a secret behind all of it." I screamed.
"W-what?" She said, all innocently.
"What do you mean 'what'? I think it was pretty self-explanatory."
"I honestly didn't know that my mom and your dad..."
"Wait... You really didn't know?"
"No."
"I need to go." I said, walking out the door without my suitcase.
I walked out of the mansion, and walked out the big gates. I didn't know where I was going, but it was going to be far from there.
"Need a ride sweetheart?" A car drove up to me.
Inside the car, was an older guy. He had a wooden cross, on his necklace.
"It's okay, I'm a pastor." He added.
In a way, I really trusted him, and he seemed nice.
"Okay, sure." I said, getting into his car.
"Where to?" He asked.
I looked at him,
"I don't really have anywhere to go." I said.
"Then, I'm going to take you to my house, for dinner." He said, smiling sweetly.
"Okay." I replied,
He then started the car, and we drove to his house.
"By the way, my name is Darrel, Darrel Stellar." He said, on the way to his house.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Adelaide, Adelaide Rians." I replied.
"Nice to meet you too."
He pulled up to a somewhat average house, and the mailbox said:
Stellar
(A/N don't take any of this dinner scene/the family offensive, because I'm a Christian too. So this is not me mocking Christians or religious people, this is just me putting in a part of a Christian family. 🙂)
