ADELAIDE'S POV

I got dressed, and made sure that Myles would know what he would never have. So I wore this:

This would be a dinner, he would never forget, I was sick of him butting into my life. My turn to give him an unforgettable night. Once I was dressed, the doorbell rang. I then, opened the door.

"Adelaide!" Myles said, smiling wide.

He had a girl by his side, who 'coincidentally' looked really similar to me. She had black hair, green eyes, and freckles.

"Myles." I replied with a very fake smile.

"Adelaide, meet Adaline."

Wow, even our names were similar.

"Nice to meet you Adaline." I said, shaking her hand.

"Guess I don't need to knock." Ash said, smiling.

"Hi baby!" I said enthusiastically. "Ash, this is Adaline, Myles' new girlfriend, and you know Myles." I added, introducing everyone.

"Nice to meet you two." Adaline said.

"Nice to meet you too!" We replied, in-unison. Then we laughed,

"You guys are too cute!"

I blushed and looked down.

"Oh, I didn't know anyone was here yet." My mom slurred.

"Oh, my, gosh." I said, my jaw dropping.

"What's wrong, darling?" My mom said, walking down the stairs.

I ran towards her, trying to pick her up, but she was falling on me.

"Ash, Myles, help. Please, I'm falling." I said.

Quickly Ash and Myles came to my rescue.

"What are you children doing? I want to have dinner with you." She said, chuckling.

"Maybe when you're sober, mom." I said, bringing her to her bedroom, with the help of Ash and Myles.

Once we got her to her bed, she instantly fell asleep. I turned off the lights and walked back downstairs to Adaline.

"I'm so sorry to disappoint, but maybe dinner another time." I said, half-fake-chuckling.
