I pressed my back against the wall and crossed my arms, just pretending the pain wasn't there, I felt my scalp ripping apart as the pointed horns protruded through the skin. I cringed and bit my bottom lip, clenching my fists, the pain in my spine was excruciating.. I fell to my knees abd gasped as the pain got worse, I clawed at the concrete beneath me, wet with rain water and.. who the hell knows what... I finally got my breath back as I moved the new appendage... swinging around behind me, I sighed and stood up, everything got numb... I should be used to this by now... I do it every night... its like a fucking werewolf... I got back in my place on the wall, crossing my arms and stared at the opposite wall. Lighting a cigarette, I took a few puffs off it. Smiling softly, I looked at the dark green claws on my hands, I clicked them together then snapped my attention to the horned silhouette in the street lamp, walking to me. I smirked. "Yo, what took ya so long?" The figure chuckled, I could only imagine the dark smirk she had on her face. A katana drawn at her side, dripping with a red substance. She made her way to me and spoke darkly. "Work let me off late..." she pulled the sword up and licked the blood off. Smirking when she finished. I chuckled and and met her red eyes. "Brandon... let me ask you something...was the price worth paying just to look like me?" The playful and kinda dark mood changed.... it changed to deep and painful sorrow... I looked away from her. "Yes.." I replied softly. "Liar.." she hissed. "I'm not lying..." "yes you are... you loved her and you know you did... it still kills you today... well... it would.... if you were.... still alive!!!" Poison dripping from every word she hissed with that forked Tongue. "No! I didn't love her..." "Yes you did... and you took her life and gave it to someone so undeserving... and for what? Your own selfish desire?" "He said he'd bring her back to me!!!" "You know... promises are ment to be broken...according to his law..." she whispered. I growled at her and went for a swing at her face, she quickly reached up and grabbed my fist. "Tsk, Tsk, Tsk... take it out of me... do you? When I'm only trying to help you realize what you did... was unforgivable." Her lips stretching into a huge, unhumanly, smile, her tongue flicking out every few seconds. Tears streaming down my face. "If you didn't love her... then why are you crying? Huh? Answer me that..." "I'm....I'm not.... c-crying...." "do you think just because it's raining I can't see you? I can see perfectly." I quickly jerked my fist away, wiping my face. "I'm. Not. Crying." She rolled her eyes. "Sure. Sure you aren't. Now... Anwser the question... was the price worth it? Brandon?" I shivered as the memories rushed over my brain, breaking my heart in two.

Flash back

"Brandon... wh...what are you doing?" I hugged her closely. "I'm sorry.... I'm so sorry... but... I have to... I have to...I'm so sorry..." I whispered to her as I locked my lips with hers. She kissed back with a soft blush on her cheeks, her wavy red hair falling perfectly over her shoulders, I cried harder as she pulled away and titled her head in confusion. "What are you sorry about--" I quickly stabbed the knife into her throat, sliding it sideways, I cut a slit in her jugular vein, blood spurting out on my face, hands, arms and chest, she gagged and coughed, gasping for air, her light blue eyes filling with tears, I held her tightly as she began to go cold and fall limp. She clawed at her throat, then gurgled and went limp. I cried harder and stroked her bloody hair. Gasping for air, I wiped the blood off and cried harder at the sight of it, her blue eyes dead, I closed her eyes and tucked her hair behind her ear. "I'm so sorry... I'm so sorry..." kissing her head gently, I choked on my tears. "H-Holly.... I-I'm so-o s-s-sorry!!!"

End of flash back

I fell on my knees and cried out. "I-if only there were-e a way to b-bring h-her b-back!!!!" M.S. looked down at me with a dark smirk on her lips. "Isn't so easy to be me... is it~?" I quickly drew my blade and stabbed it into her stomach, the blade cutting deep, I was waiting for her to fall and die... but... she just stood there, blood leaking out of her new cavity and staining the concrete below. She smiled wider and chuckled, the chuckle soon turning into a dark laughter. "You know I'm undefeatable.... right~?" She jerked the blade out. Throwing it to the side, she then bent down to my level. Her fangs glistening in the moon light. "But your still mortal~!!" She lunged at me, I blacked out and awoke to be in the same ally way, Sam's concrete, same M.S. standing in front of me. she titled her head in confusion. "Dude.... you trippin'?" I looked up at her. It was just an acid trip... I sighed and stood up. "No, I'm fine..... u..uh.... yeah..." she gazed at me for a moment and rolled her eyes. "C'mon! Get up off your ass and help me smoke this!" She said cheerfully as she pulled out a small plastic bag full of weed. I smirked and grabbed the bag. "Ya got something to roll it in?" She nodded and followed me to the door that has my other hide out. One here, one down by the beach. I slammed opened the door as she walked in behind me, looking around, she closed it behind her. "Aight... just find a seat..." she knocked a bunch of cans off a seat and sat down, I placed the bag on the table and smirked, grabbing a lighter I spoke lowly. "Lets light this up!"
