During the whole school year, Suki and Naruto have been growing closer to each other and being completely inseparable. They both share a few characteristics but differ tremendously, being polar opposites.

Katō Suki, a talented and honorable Senju clan member, was a more respectful figure who achieved much in her young years as being able to perform every task and jutsu test given. Being a Senju gave her that advantage of having a remarkably strong chakra, giving her a limitless power. Her specialities were taijutsu and ninjutsu. She holds incredible strength and extraordinary justsu's passed on from her family which she has yet to learn, especially the Spirit Transformation Jutsu. Much like her mother, she was very blunt but like her father, well tempered. Suki tends to avoid fights even when she starts them without a notice. Although she can be very honest, she has a pure soul, full of kindness. She kept her emotions very hidden, emotions such as sadness and anger. Unlike Naruto, she is mature and obtains leadership abilities.

What an odd friendship, right? Yes. No. Maybe. They both learn and guide one another which gives each a balance. Naruto shows Suki how to be more carefree and have fun as Suki shows Naruto how to be more obedient and take things serious.

8:30 AM

"Today, I will decide whether or not you will graduate from the Academy and move on into becoming a genin." Iruka Sensei announced holding a clipboard full of names.

This should be easy!

Suki who sat next to Naruto and Sasuke leaned over to face the blonde boy who seemed awfully scared for his life. "You ready, Naruto?!" She exclaimed giving him a cheeky smile and a punch to the arm. Naruto who wasn't listening to a word she said was filled with overwhelming thoughts, constantly shaking as he turned into a red hot tomato. Suki gave him another hit to the arm using her strength, finally gaining his attention. "OI, NARUTO!" Naruto jumped and looked over at Suki. "Did you hear me? I asked if you were ready!" Naruto just shook his head and put out a thumb, "HAI! I'M UZUMAKI NARUTO, DATTEBAYO!" he smiled with his teeth and winked.

It's about to start.

"Katō Suki."

Suki went up first, taking a deep breath before performing the Clone Technique. She used the Tiger-Boar-Ox-Dog hand seals.

Success!

After going down the list, everyone has passed especially the class geniuses, Uchicha Sasuke and Hyūga Neji. Finally, it was Naruto's turn. Naruto went up and performed the hand seals as he spitted out the words.

Oh, that Uzumaki.

Iruka Sensei was irritated and gave up, Naruto failed. Giving Mizuki excuses on why he cannot pass. Naruto was alone and devastated as he has always been until Suki. He sat alone on the swing, hearing parents congratulate their kids and kids speaking down on him. Before Suki leaves with her parents to celebrate, she walks up to Naruto under the tree. Tapping his shoulder, she gives him a faint smile.

"I still believe in you."

Naruto just looks at her with the self doubt he has, exchanging her smile with a fake smile of his. "OF COURSE! I was just fooling around, dattebayo! It was just practice. I can pass."

Suki gave him a large hug, "That's more like it, but you shouldn't have played around like that baka! I'll see you tomorrow Naruto-kun."

That Uzumaki. I know he'll make it somehow.

(Let's just skip this part and get it over with. You know what happens when Naruto steals the scroll, learning the Shadow Clone Jutsu and Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu.)

THE NEXT DAY

There was a knock on Naruto's door. The young boy who was exhausted from the commotion last night was still in bed, lazily getting up to get the door.

"Hn" he grumbled, opening the door.

"NA-RU-TO!" a green-eyed brunette screamed in excitement. "You passed baka!"

Naruto was finally awake when he heard her loud mouth, causing him to jump and smile with two thumbs up. "HAI! I TOLD YA!"

Suki let herself in to give that boy a hug, squeezing him nearly to death. "Let's celebrate with ramen! I'll pay!"

Before letting Naruto answer or even change into his clothes, Suki grabbed his hand and ran out to Ichiraku's. Naruto's face felt warm and red. This is what he wanted. He has never had anyone else other than Iruka Sensei treat him like a normal being. He was acknowledged not by one person but another, his bestfriend. He was truly grateful. Tears fell down as they ran throughout the village, Suki didn't seem to notice as she was ahead of him.

NARUTO'S POV

I've finally accomplished something and received what I always wanted, acknowledgement. I am so happy to have you Suki. I wish we will never separate. You are my bestfriend and I will cherish this friendship forever. Thank you for everything. You are not like the others who only see me as a demon. Even knowing why people hated me, you chose to think otherwise and see for yourself of who I really was.
