"Hmm..." Suki tapped her fingers along the wooden table. "What should I do?"
I still feel a load of guilt after yesterday's drama. I'm not sure if Sasuke meant it, you know? To actually leave him alone. I feel like he needs someone... he's alone.
"Alright! I'll go over to Sasuke's! Or I'll find him! I hope!" the brunette got up from her chair and started bursting out the door. She was on a mission to check and apologize to the boy.
Suki made her way around the village, stopping at every stop and corner, Sasuke is nowhere to be found.
Where could that Uchiha be?!
"Hmph." Suki wandered around, yawning from exhaustion. She found an empty bench around the park, laying her whole body down as she stared up at the trees, wind blowing her way at a soft pace.
She heard footsteps coming her away, quickly getting up to fix herself. A similar figure appeared, walking right by her. "S-Sasuke?!" She questioned.
The Uchiha turned.
It's him!
Before Suki can run up to talk to him, he started walking off the opposite direction, avoiding her. Suki didn't let him get away again, she quickly followed and blocked his way. "Sasuke! Stop! I need to talk to you."
The boy ignored that as well, circling around her and walking forward.
Suki acted fast and grabbed his arm before he could walk any further, "Please."
"Look I'm sorry Sasuke. I'm not sure if it was my fault for your disappearance but I feel guilty. I didn't mean what I said." Suki gently let go of him, biting her lower lip.
"You were right." The Uchiha spoke softly, "I don't know what love is."
Suki just stood there with an open mouth, not knowing what to say or do. She was completely speechless. Moments of silence passed by and she shook her head, "I will show you... love."
Sasuke raised a brow, shock yet doubting her reply.
"Yes, that's right Sasuke. You'll never know what it is until you've experienced it." Suki gently held his hand. "Love comes from friends too, not just family or relationships. I'm your friend and I'll always be here for you."
Sasuke was stood stiff, unable to react or say a word. He didn't know what to feel. He didn't believe her, he couldn't believe her. He wanted to accept but he couldn't afford the pain afterwards.
"You're annoying." He took his hands away from hers and gave her a glare. "I don't trust anyone. I have no friends."
"No! Sasuke, you have me! I'm here for you always. I know you've been alone and it's hard for you but don't push people away... it hurts too." Suki dropped a tear, wiping it quickly before taking a deep breath. "Even if you think otherwise and doubt me, I will always be your friend."
"What would you know about being alone?" Sasuke bickered, clenching his fists as he held in his rage of emotions. "You have a complete family. Your parents are still alive. You have friends who don't look at you like you're some kind of pain in the ass or someone different."
Furrowing her brows and tears rolling down her cheeks heavily, she blurted out, "We may not have the same situations but I know what loneliness is like! I'm not the only one and you're not the only one! Naruto knows exactly how you feel!" She let out a small wimper, "Just let me help you the way Naruto and I-"
"Leave me alone." The Uchiha demanded, cutting her off before leaving.
