"Natalie?! Well Nat is one of my good students." He says.

"How. She bullies me everyday." I say.

"Why do you think it's her?" Mr. Vlon asks changing the subject.

"Because, she was the only one at the party on Saturday. Luke and I wanted to talk privately so we went upstairs to talk. She was the only one who followed us and burst we through the door making a whole scene." I explain turning my head to Luke.

"I'll just call her in." He says.

He calls in Natalie for the "truth". Like she will even tell the whole truth.

"Yes Mr. Vlon?" She comes in asking innocently.

"Take a seat." He says pointing next to me. Ugh.

If rather be at the mall buying loads of makeup right now.

"Did you do this? Miss. Portman?" Mr. Vlon asks Natalie. She takes a second to read it, hesitates, then answers "Never seen it in my life." She says trying to play it cool.

"Why'd you hesitate?" I asked her.

"I didn't hesitate." She stutters.

"Why'd you stu-" "I'm asking the questions Miss. Lynne." Mr. Vlon says cutting me off. I sink into my seat. "It's okay babe. As long as he doesn't call our parents, you're fine." Luke whispers comforting me. "What did you just tell Rachel?" Mr. Vlon asks. "I was just comforting her." Luke responds. "I'm going to side with Natalie on this." Mr. Vlon says. WHAT?! Really?! "What?! But Mr. Vlon, we didn't do anything wrong!" I say. "Don't argue with me Rachel!" He says standing up. "Sorry Mr. Vlon." I say sinking into my seat. "Well, I'll have to call both of your parents." He says picking up the phone.

I almost start crying because my mom might even believe "Mr. Believe everything". I won't even be able to see Luke anymore. "Yea, Ms. Selene?" He begins to say. "Selene" is my moms' maiden name. "Your daughter is in my office right now, do you want to speak to her?" He asks. I can hear her say yes. "Mom!" I say quietly through the phone. "What the hell did you do?!" She yells quietly through the phone. "I swear I didn't do anything wrong! Mr. Vlon is believing Natalie." I explain. "I'm coming up to your school now." She says hanging up. "She hung up." I say turning around handing Mr. Vlon the phone.

I can see my mom enter the building. "What did Rach do- is that- oh tell me EVERYTHING!" She says looking at Mr. Vlon.

He tells her what happened and she looks furious at me.

We walk out the door to talk. "Mom, I swear-" "no. What... what is wrong with you?" She asks. "Nothing! Mom listen. Luke and I didn't do ANYTHING at that party. Completely NOTHING! All we did was go upstairs to talk without all the noise." I explain. "Yea sure. Let's go, you're leaving early." She says grabbing my arm. "Mom did you not listen?" I ask. "I'm sorry, I didn't have time to listen to your lies she says breaking my heart. I can't believe I heard what I just heard. I stop moving. "C'mon what're you doing?" She says. I jerk my arm away from her trying to take it. "H-... how could you s- say that?!" I ask. "Look I'm sorry now can we go now?" She asks. "Oh sure." I say with a sarcastic look.

We get home and my mom leaves for work and I run upstairs to go to sleep.

"Babe?" I hear a voice say. I turn to face the front of my room and I see Luke standing at my door.

"Oh god! You scared me." I say.

"I know." He says coming over to lay down on me.

"You know I love you right?" Luke asks me.

"Maybe?" I say.

"Well, I love you." He says hugging me.

"You're just saying that." I say flipping myself.

"Am I really?" He asks smiling.
