"So I've been thinking about school," I said eating a strawberry.

"Well it has to be the best school," he ate one watching tv.

"But the best school is far," I groaned.

"So? You're not getting stuck in this little town because of me," he almost growled.

"Well you have to come with me," I moved to crawl into his lap.

"I will after I get some money made and a job," he pulled me into his lap and wrapped his arms around me.

"You'll come visit too?"

"You think I could just stay away from you Rae?"

I laughed lightly, "maybe."

"Oh really?" he started tickling me and I tried to wiggle out of his arms.

"Tim!" I yelled laughing.

He finally got me pinned down on the couch and I blushed looking up at him.

"Can you imagine it?"

"What?" I laughed lightly.

"Our first place."

I blushed even more. Tim Riggins; the womanizer, the playboy, that typical jock. He wanted a place with me. He promised to love me forever. He was mine and he was amazing.

"Could you not fuck on the couch?" Tim's brother walked in the house.

We both sat up and Tim glared at him.

"You're just mad because Mindy isn't giving you any," I punched Tim's arm.

"What? It's true," he mumbled to me.

"I didn't even do anything," he groaned and walked to the kitchen.

"Billy," I stood up following him.

"What?"

"You kind of did do something," I leaned against the door frame.

"What did I do?" he laid his head on the fridge.

"You didn't listen to her. Women want to know that you're paying attention and you get why we're crazy. You don't listen enough to her," I started to step forward but Tim's arm wrapped around me.

"Does he listen?" Billy pointed at Tim.

"He didn't at first, but he knew what was important and he was going to work for it. Now it's your turn mister."

Tim squeezed me and leaned down to kiss my head.

"You're pretty damn important," he whispered.

"I better be the most important," I bumped my butt into him earning a groan.

"So what do I do?" Billy asked.

"You have to sit down and apologize and listen to whatever the hell she wants to say and take in it."

"I think I can do that," he grabbed a beer from the fridge.

"If you don't you're losing the best thing you've ever had," Tim added.

I could see the pain in his face.

"Billy you won't lose her. She loves you, she's just mad at you. Women don't quit that easy."

He sighed and walked past us down to his room.

I punched Tim's arm again.

"Could you stop that?"

"You have to be more sensitive butt head," I groaned.

"I am."

"Not just to me," I groaned resting my head on his chest.

"Hey, I'm getting better you said it yourself," he rubbed my back.

"I know," I kissed his chest and wrapped my arms around him.

"But I still have more work right?"

"Oh yeah," I laughed.
