Chapter 8∞

"I can't believe you're dragging me to this silly meeting." Kenzi complained making me give her a look.
"Well since I'm going to those dance tryouts you're coming to this meeting with me." I replied back to her.
I told Mr. Wolf that I would be coming to the meeting so I am.
"You're just going to this meeting so you can see Mr. Wolf." Kenzi replied back rolling her eyes.
"Or I could actually want to go to this meeting?" I told her which is partly true.
She waved me off.
"Girl, you need to stop fronting like you haven't been stalking him around campus. You need to make a move on him before one of these older women do." Kenzi told me.
I don't know how many times I have to explain to them that he probably doesn't even like younger girls. I'm just his student and he's my teacher.
"There's the building right there." I told Kenzi ignoring what she said before.
We headed inside the building and there seems to be a ton of other people here too. Once we were inside we could barely find a seat and we had to sit in the very back. I'm kind of upset we're so far away from the podium but I guess we have no choice.
"Damn there's a lot of people here. I wasn't expecting this." Kenzi whispered making me nod my head in agreement.
"Me either. I can barely see up front." I stated shaking my head.
Tyrone walked in the room making Kenzi instantly wave him over.
"Hey Tyrone." She said sendin him a wave.
"Wassup shorty?" He said smiling at her.
"Sit next to me." She told him
He sat next to her and they instantly veered off into their own conversation.
Great, so now it's gonna feel like I'm here alone.
I watched as everyone had their own conversations some a little louder than others but I listened in anyways.
ten minutes later the meeting started with Mr. Wolf standing at the podium.
I'm not even gonna lie he looks delicious as always.
"I want to thank everyone for taking the time out of your day to come here." He said making everyone clap.
"I want to welcome the new comers which we seem to have a ton of. New comers stand up so we can see who you are." Mr. Wolf said.
I stood up along with a lot of the other students and his eyes instantly landed on me. He sent me a smile and I smiled back.
"Welcome." He said as we all sat back down.
"This class is mainly for us to discuss black issues and to hear people's thoughts. Everyone has a different point of view of things even though we're all black we all want the same thing we just have different ways of going about it. So lets discuss...

"Girl, Tyrone is going to this hot college party. Do you wanna go?" Kenzi questioned me.
We both have class early in the morning so the last thing on my mind right now is a party.
"We have class in the morning though.." I told her.
"And..? We can go have some fun then be in by one." She told me making me shake my head.
"I'll pass." I told her waving her off.
She gave me look.
"You're such a damn lame. No wonder you're a virgin." She said making me mean mug her.
There was no reason for that at all.
"Have a nice night." I replied bluntly as she let Tyrone drag her off.
Her eyes remained on me as she left the room.
I swear she makes me so mad sometimes. I don't regret holding onto my virginity for someone special. It means something to me and I will not give it up for just anybody like she did.
"Hey, you alright?" Mr. Wolf said making me jump.
I turned around to see him standing behind me.
By now everyone has almost exited the building and really it was just me and him with a few students lingering around.
"Um yeah, why did you ask?" I asked him.
"You were just standing here with an upset look on your face." He replied back to me.
"I'm fine, just a little tired that's all." I lied about to walk away.
"Are you walking back to your dorm by yourself?" He asked me with a raised eyebrow.
I nodded my head.
"Yeah, Kenzi left me to go with her boyfriend to some stupid party." I answered him.
This is not the first time Kenzi has left me to go be with a boy. I should've just brought Jasmine and I wouldn't be in this situation.
"I don't think it'd be safe for you to walk back to your dorm alone. Do you mind if I join you?" He asked me making me smile uncontrollably.
"I wouldn't mind at all." I told him.
He gestured towards the door.
"Lead the way queen."

"How come every time I see you, you have an upset look on your face?" Mr. Wolf asked me.
"You always catch me at the wrong times that's why but so far I haven't had a genuine smile on my face." I replied back to him.
"Well that needs to change..me and a group of friends are going bowling Saturday and I was wondering if you'd like to come?" He asked me.
I stopped walking and turned towards him.
"Do you think it would be okay if I were to join you guys?" I questioned making him shrug his shoulders.
"As friends I think that would be okay." He told me honestly.
I nodded my head and smiled genuinely.
"Then I would love to." I answered back to him.
He smiled big.
"Good, hanging around with me you're gonna really have some fun." He told me.
"Oh really, we gon have to see then."
