By the time Vincent made it back to his dorm without running into other vampires, mainly Zack and Lilith, he went inside his room where he saw Jimmy on the couch watching the movie 'The Lost Boys' on TV.

"Hey man" Jimmy said "How was your date with Peyton?"

Vincent gave a sigh.

"Okay something bad happened" Jimmy said with a small sigh as he turned off the TV "Let me guess, you ran into an ex boyfriend of hers?"

"No."

"You forgot your wallet?"

"No."

"You had diarrhea?"

"Dude!" Vincent exclaimed a bit disgusted.

"Well it happened on your first date in high school, remember what happened?"

"Yes" Vincent frowned "And I said I never wanted to talk about that anymore."

"Oh sorry, so what happened?"

He gave another sigh "Peyton found out about me."

"She saw your secret birthmark?!" Jimmy gasped.

"I wished it could of been that" Vincent grunted "But no, she knows I'm a vampire."

At that point Jimmy's eyes widen.

"Oh..." he said surprised "How did she find out?"

"She kinda saw me drinking a rat's blood" Vincent bit his lip.

"Oh damn" Jimmy sighed "Did she freak?"

"Of course, she even ran away. But then I had to hide in her dorm in order to get away from Zack who threaten me, and then we talked things out and now she and her friend are okay with me."

"Seriously?" Jimmy said amused.

"Yeah" he replied with a small smile "They actually thought it was cool being friends with a vampire."

"Well that's great" Jimmy smiled "Now you got more human friends who aren't afraid of you. But uh, what does this mean for you and Peyton?"

"I don't know, I mean she knows I like her, but I guess I'll just see how it goes from here."

"Suit yourself, and uh, about her friend, any chance she's hot and single?"

"Well-" Vincent said with a small chuckle "I don't know if she's single, but she is pretty hot."

"Interesting..." he said with a sneaky smile.

"You can meet her tomorrow."

"Sweet!"

Vincent then opened the refrigerator and pulled out a water bottle filled with blood as he twisted the cap off and took a sniff.

"Jimmy I told you not to get chicken blood again" he groaned "You know I hate the taste."

"Sorry" Jimmy replied casually as he went back to watching TV "It was the only one available."

Vincent gave a sigh as he took a sip of the blood as he cringed from the taste.

The next morning, Peyton went to the campus library where she searched through the books as he gave a yawn, ever since last night she wasn't able to sleep, she couldn't stop thinking about Vincent and his secret. Even though she now knew the truth about him, she wanted to know more. She was so lost in her thoughts that when she pulled out a book, she caused another one to slip out, but a hand quickly caught it as she saw herself facing Vincent.

"You should pay attention next time" he smirked as he got up and slid the book back into the shelf.

"Yeah" she agreed with a small smile "I'm just a bit tired."

"Aren't we all?" he agreed with that charming smile of his that made Peyton melt "So uh, you doing anything today?"

"Well I know I have to study and all, but I think we can meet up for lunch."

"Any chance Molly can come? Because my friend wants to meet her."

She gave a small laugh "I'll see."

After the library, the two headed out and chatted while walking down the hallway.

"So I gotta ask" Peyton started to say "Are you always this mysterious and charming? Or is that just a vampire thing?"

"Well-" he said with a small chuckle "I've always been shy, especially around pretty girls."

"Oh..." she grinned in a flirty way.

"He thinks I'm pretty-" she thought "Score!"

"I was also a loner" he added "I barely had any friends. But then I met Jimmy in high school and we've been friends since."

"So turning into a vampire wont change your personality?"

"Sometimes, it mainly depends if you want it to or not. As for me, Jimmy says that I'm still the same guy I've always been, but now I seem to be good at observing things, and he says that I've become a master at charm."

"Ain't that the truth" Peyton smirked as he chuckled.

"Well all vampires are good at charming people, mainly because they use their charm to lure victims to their doom, but that's not the case in my book."

"Are there other vampires like you? I mean those who don't drink human blood and aren't evil?"

"There are, but there's not that many of us. We stick to our own kind."

"Are you friends with any of those kinds?"

"Of course, when I turned, they gladly took me in, it's like we're all one big family. We even have our own bar."

"Really?" she said amused "How's it like?"

"Why don't you see for yourself?"

"What do you mean?"

"Why don't you and Molly join me and Jimmy sometime this week and we can all go to the bar?"

"Are humans allowed?" she said with a concerned look.

"Only those who are friends of vampires, and they can be trusted. Jimmy and I go to bar every once in a while, and the vampires don't mind him."

"Well in that case-" she smiled "I would love too, and I'll ask Molly later."

"Great" he smiled "Just let me know when you can."

When they went their separate ways, Peyton couldn't wait to go to the bar with Vincent, it was filling her with curiosity on the vampire world. But as Vincent went down the hall, his phone suddenly rang as he pulled it out and saw the caller ID.

Him

He gave a sigh as he stepped to the side of the hall and answered it.

"Yes" he sighed.

"I heard you have a new human friend" Him said "The same one who you were suppose to kill."

"Yeah things happen" Vincent frowned.

"I must say, I'm very disappointed in you Vincent, I expected more from you."

"Yeah well you don't everything in life."

"Keep this up and not only will you not get the cure, but there will be other consequences, and trust me, you don't want know what I can do when I get mad."

"I can imagine" Vincent frowned as he hung up.
