Later that day, Peyton and Vincent went out to town where they walked down the sidewalk passing through the different stores and restaurants. Since it was a sunny day, Vincent had to put on his sunglasses and sunscreen due to his weakness.

"So do they like have sunscreen made specially for vampires?" Peyton asked.

"They do" he replied "And the one I'm wearing right now has SPF 300."

"Whoa" she chuckled "That's a way to avoid a tan. So where are we going by the way?"

"To see a guy who can provide us with vampire weaknesses. And by the way, I must warn you, this guy is a bit... retarded. Everyone thinks he's crazy cause he believes in the supernatural, and even though it's true, everyone tries to stay away from him."

"Does he know you're a vampire?"

"He does unfortunately, and when he found out he went up to everyone saying 'I was right bitches! Vampires exist! You all are dead wrong! I was right and you were wrong, I was right and you were wrong! By the way it's 15% off of Spell Books today'."

"Whoa" Peyton giggled.

"Yeah everyone's think he's gotten worse" he added with a fake smile.

"How did he find out about you?"

"I kinda unexpectedly stood in front of a mirror and he saw that I didn't have reflection" he replied with a guilty look.

"Oo" she bit her lip "You gotta be more careful around mirrors."

He gave a sigh when he suddenly stopped and turned to a store.

"Ah here we are" he announced as she turned and gazed at the store.

The first thing she noticed was that it was a Gothic shop titled Zee's Little Shop of Horrors all in bright crimson red letters.

"Little Shop of Horrors?" she said in a loathing tone "Is he for real?"

"What do you think?" Vincent replied with hint of sarcasm.

"I'm starting to think this guy watching too many cult movies."

When they went inside, Peyton already got an uneasy feeling in her stomach as she examined the place. She glimpsed around to see chilling artifacts from spells books, to shrunken heads that she couldn't tell if they were fake or not, to wooden wands, to even haunting masks with eyes that seemed to stare at her.

But as she stared at the masks, one of them suddenly gave a surprise yell as she shrieked before punching the mask in the nose, only to discover that it wasn't a mask at all, but in fact a real man as he appeared from behind the shelf while clutching his nose in pain.

"Jeez Louise!" the Gothic man whined as he turned to Peyton with his hybrid colored eyes of blue and yellow "Can't you take a joke?"

"Yes, but I can't take a scare" she frowned.

"Peyton" Vincent spoke up "This is Zee, the owner and crazed supernatural believer."

"I am not crazy!" Zee snapped "I mean you're a vampire for crying out loud, I've been right this whole time!"

He then turned to Peyton.

"You" he pointed at her "Are you anything of the supernatural?"

"No I'm completely ordinary" she replied casually.

"Well dip shit" he grunted.

"Well sorry I'm not unique" she grunted back.

"Look Zee-" Vincent spoke up "Can you just help us with something?"

"Sure what do you need?" Zee asked "Chicken blood? Goat blood? Lama blood?-"

"I don't need any blood... actually I'll go ahead and take the goat blood. But we also need a supply of vampire weaknesses and hunting gears."

"You're trying to kill your own kind?" Zee said shocked.

"Well the other kind."

As Vincent explained to Zee, Peyton walked over to a wall filled with artifacts as she plopped a piece of gum into her mouth. She admired the cool and creepy stuff that looked like they belonged in a horror movie as she then spotted a wooden wand that was beautifully carved.

Not knowing that Vincent and Zee had went into the back room, she picked up the wand and admired the details. Wondering if this was a real wizard wand, she pretended to blast magic with the wand while making blasting noises. But when she aimed the wand at a shelf, magic suddenly blasted out of the wand, frightening her as she jumped with a shriek.

Not knowing what had happened, Peyton turned to the shelf and noticed that a ballerina music box had fallen off the shelf, and the ballerina had been severed from the actually music box. Peyton stood there with her eyes widen in shock as she turned to the wand.

"This wand actually works?!" she gasped in a whisper as she placed it back on the shelf.

Hoping that Vincent and Zee didn't hear anything, which she doubt they did, she picked up the ballerina and the music box and tried to find a way to fix it without them noticing. She frantically gazed around the room, hoping to find some glue or anything, but nothing. She then remembered the gum she was chewing, with that being the next best thing, she took the gum out of her mouth and pressed it onto the hole where the ballerina was and stuck the china figurine into it, and fortunately it stayed, but she didn't think it would turn anymore.

Just then Vincent and Zee came out from the back room as Peyton quickly placed the ballerina music box back on the shelf and acted casually while whistling like nothing had happened.

"Peyton-" Vincent said as he held up a vintage kit "We got ourselves a vampire killing kit."

"Great!" she smiled with a thumbs up, still hoping that they wouldn't notice anything different.

After thanking Zee, the two headed out the shop and down the sidewalk with Peyton wondering if Zee would notice the ballerina music box.

"You okay Peyton?" Vincent suddenly asked.

"What I didn't break anything!" she quickly exclaimed while trying to hide back her guilt.

She froze, cursing herself for shouting those words as Vincent stared at her with confusion.

"What?" he questioned.

"What?" she echoed.

"Uh, never mind" he shrugged it off as they continued down the sidewalk.

Peyton gave a quiet sigh in relief, she really needed to think before she spoke.
