[8] where is he?

"Where's Jake?" She asks sniffling."I don't know, he ran off." She looks at me with a,'he did what' kind of look and she runs in the direction where she sees his footsteps, she doesn't find him until later on cause I see them walking back with his arm wrapped around her neck.

Alison's pov

Once Austin tells me he ran off, I immediately run the direction I see footsteps and after 10 minutes of running and walking I finally see him sitting against a fence crying with his head down in his knees, I walk up to him and sit next to him."Jacob.." I start to say but he looks up at me."can I kiss you...?" He asks and it takes me back a little bit but I calmly say,"yes, but I don't want you thinking I li-" he cuts me off with saying,"I know, I just want to kiss you before I get over you." I shut my mouth and look at him, waiting for him to kiss me."go ahead." He leans in kissing me slowly and passionately. He pulls away and looks down.

"I'm ready to go back." He tells me before getting up and I look up at him, he puts his hand out for me to grab so he can help me up."you don't have to tell Austin what happened if you don't want to." We start to walk side by side,"I am, he can't get mad." He puts his arm around my neck and when we get back we see Austin sitting on the porch stairs with his hands crossed and his head down, we walk up to him and he feels our presence so he looks up at us then stands up."Jake." Is all that comes out of his mouth, he opens his mouth to speak again but stops himself.

"It's all good Austin, I kissed your girlfriend by the way, see ya in there." Jacob teases making a silly face before running into the house and Austin looks into my eyes,"is that true?" I nod not feeling guilty, which was weird. I usually do."Austin, he knows he cant have me, all he wanted was a singular kiss. And no, I'm not sorry. I hurt my best friend, the least I can do is give him a small little kiss. It didn't even mean anything." Austin's eyes glue to mine before he starts moving, eyes still staring into mine and he quickly, swiftly grabs my face kissing me with a strong passion and care."you're mine." Goosebumps creep up on my arms and legs once he says that slightest thing.

"So I'm guessing, it's fine." He just stares into my eyes holding my face gracefully, sliding his hand down slowly to my waist stopping for a second biting his lip leaning in."your fine." He moves away smirking as he stares at my shocked expression and he walks away not looking back opening the front door not waiting for me. I shake it off walking to the door opening it and walking in.

I see Austin and Jacob talking, pointing at the TV making up theories and I just plaster on a smile gracefully walking towards them. This is what I wanted, for my two favorite boys to get along again. this brings my heart so much joy, I cant even explain it. I sit next to Austin admiring his features, then once he realizes he looks over at me and winks, smiling. I lay my head on Austin's shoulder and I start to close my eyes, falling asleep.
