Dear Matthew~ complete

It's been five years since me and Matthew have been together I was only 13 years old when we became an us,Matthew and Valerie...we've been through everything together,tough times,good times...now we are both 17 years old and we are in high school now,and so many things have changed but this is just a little flash back so you guys will know how close we have been....here's the real story of me and Matthew...and yes it hurts me to explain everything...every detail...every word said...every lie and break up ever done.

I look into the mirror and push my glasses up because they slip off my nose just a little bit as I pick up my eyeliner and take off my glasses,I'm so dumb why did I try to adjust them if I was going to take them off...I lean on the sink counter to apply the eyeliner, but before I put it in I think about what my dad told me " your only thirteen Val you don't need any of that to make you pretty"....I look at myself in the mirror and lift my hand up on my right eye...just before I apply the eyeliner Matthew comes in,he clears his throat as he leans on the wall " Matthew when did you get here?" I ask he smiles and comes behind me " your dad let me in before he left to work...why are you putting the junk on?" He asks me I look into the mirror and say " I just feel like...I don't know I need to look more..." I don't say anything anymore as Matthew grabs my hair and pulls it back and lets it go he leans down close to my ear and whispers " you don't need that to look pretty, your beautiful just the way you are,with none of that stuff on" I smile and once again look at myself in the mirror....(Val!)...(Val!) I hear someone yell my name I look up to see Matthew yelling and that's when a hand hits my arm and wakes me up.

I open my eyes and see my little sister Rebecca"Valerie mommy says you have better wake up it's almost lunch time!" I roll my eyes and sit up straight letting the blood flow through my head before I get up and walk around. Once I decided to stop being lazy I go shower brush my teeth and change into some skinny jeans and my black converse and a white T-shirt and I just leave my curly hair down.  I head down stairs and see my mom on the phone, she looks at me and says " oh Val I'm off work today so you can go do what ever your friend Haley wanted you to do with her" I walk towards the refrigerator and say " no thanks I might go hang out with Matthew today" my mom moves the phone away from her ear and puts one hand in the speaker and sighs looking down. My mom has never been a fan of Matthew after she found out the things that he has done in his life and I have been there to hold on to him " oh, okay then well just be careful and don't do anything that will get you into trouble" she says as she puts the phone back to her ear.

As I walk outside I call Matthew's cell but no answer goes straight to voicemail" hey this is yo nigga Matthew call me later!" I roll my eyes, sometimes I get so worried about him when he doesn't pick up I go mad crazy I hate it when he does this to me!, I try again but nothing,so I just walk to his house which is across town. I make my way down the highway as I stop at a small gas station called (quickers food and gas) I go inside and see Matthew's two best friends Austin and Matt, they spot me and wave at me to go over, " Valerie what are you doing?" Austin asks smiling I clear my thoughts about Matthew not picking up and say " nothing just came to get some gum and what are you guys doing here ?" I ask as Matt laughs and says " why in the hell do you need gum, your breath don't need to be fresh unless your kissing someone,and uh Matthew is busy with Danielle right now" Austin punches matts arm and Matt say " Damn bro what the fuck?!...oh shit I forgot" I look at Austin and back at Matt " what do you mean?" Austin and Matt both face me" here we are fixing to got to Matthew's house why don't you come with us. We make our way outside and into the truck that Austin drives" guys hello! You have to tell me what Matt just said in there!" Austin sighs and says " bro just tell her" Matt turns to face me and says " yea I'm sorry to tell you this Val but Matthew is with this girl he met the a few weeks ago she's from a town like about...two hours away from here, she came Down to see him" I blink back my tears and say " well is he at his house with her or what!?" Matt sighs again and says " y-yeah, he is" Austin interrupts and says " if you want we can drive you back home if you don't want to face him right now" I quickly answer and say " yes please just take me back". Once Austin and Matt leave and I thank them for the ride I go inside my house and find it to be empty, a note is stuck in the front door and that says ( Val me and Rebecca went shopping be back in an hour-mom)

I go upstairs and and take out a price of line paper and begin to pour out my feelings...

Dear Matthew~ I've been in love with you for five whole damn years and this is how you do me!...I swear sometimes I feel like I'm a piece of shit, like if I'm a useless nothing all because of you!....you cheat on me you do stupid ass things and I'm always there to help you help you get through them, I love you Matthew...I'm afraid to let you go...but I don't know if you feel the same way...I've done some  pretty shity things myself but I've never told anyone but Haley and Tatum about it, and since you will never see this letter I'll say what I did!.... I hooked up with Chris Perez two a month ago and the only guy I've lost my virginity to is you and him but I swear Matthew if you do something so fucked up again...I'll do something even stupider to make you mad just you wait!......and one more thing I love you forever...~Valerie.R.....
