I go downstairs to get some orange juice when I see him standing in my living room arms crossed over his chest talking to my sister... I walk into the room and he looks up..." C-Chris..??... what are you doing here?" He smiles and hugs me and says " babe ur mom said I could come by and drop off some cake that my mom made for her birthday yesterday...and I was wandering if ya wanted to hang con migo?" He smirks adjusting his hat backwards... I'm speechless I don't hug him back I push away from him " Chris you have to get out you-you can't be here" he sighs and looks down " what did ur pussy ass user tell you I beat his ass up!" My eyes go wide as I tell Rebecca " go upstairs and don't come down unless I call you...okay?" She nods and runs up the stairs taking small glances back at me. Chris grabs me by my arms and tugs on me " hurry the hell up bitch!"... " Chris let me go now!" I shout he lets my arms go as he pushes me to the ground. I land on my stomach and I try and get up as He pulls on my leg and pulls me up by my shirt " I said get up bitch...how could you trade me for Matthew...you had sex with me and now you do him ?" I take deep breaths and say " Chris please don't do this shit to me please ... you don't understand how I felt that night okay I was a dumb for doing shit with you" he pushes me back in the wall as he holds my neck tightly and starts to choke me " please don't hurt me..." I cry,he laughs in my face and lifts up with his finger gripping onto me like a rope when I shout " Rebecca!...help!"... Chris turns his head to face the stairs as he laughs more and says " naw she ain't coming her and her dumb ass self!"

My heart beats fast as Chris tightly holds my neck... he lifts up his fist ...........and just when I think he is going to hit me, Matthew barges through the front door as Rebecca comes running down the stairs and Chris let's me go . Matthew tenses up and says " Val baby come her are you okay?" I hug him tightly and cry
"M-Matthew..." I cry more as he says " stay behind me baby" I stand behind him as Chris says " well well well, look who came to save the damn day!" Matthew looks up and and says " Rebecca sweetie come here now" Rebecca quickly runs and stands with me behind Matthew. " Chris what the hell do you think your doing" Matthew says as Chris steps closer to him " look... I came to get what is rightfully mine you bastard!" Matthew says " if you don't leave now ...I'll call the cops and tell them what you did to her!" Chris suddenly moves back and says " pushtt...wit yo bitch as...fine! Fine I'll leave!"

Matthew shuts the door and locks it behind him " baby are you okay?" His voice sounds panicky and I hug him and say " no he was choking me and slammed me to the ground" Matthew holds me tightly and says in my ear " don't worry baby he'll get what he deserves" ... I don't say a word I'm to afraid to let go... afraid to get hurt again.

One day I hope you can read all of these letters ,it would mean the world to me if you did... I'm sitting here trying to think of how to put this in a way you can understand how I feel...tonight you made me feel...safe,I've never felt as safe with you until tonight ...it's like we have our bad moments and our good ones to but... even if we argue or fight what ever,know that I don't stop loving you ever...I guess what I'm trying to say is even though we've had our ups and downs ... I love you and I want to thank you for everything you've done... especially tonight.
