John walks me to the car then hugs me goodbye. On the way home I see Alfred looking at me. I say" Alfred please don't tell my mom or dad. I don't want them to do background checks and be creepy parents." Alfred says" Alright miss but you have to tell them sometime or they will find out eventually." I sigh I know they will find out but I'm hoping it won't be till after high school.
At dinner I am very worried but they don't say anything to me about it so I am not worried until they stop me from excusing myself. Dad says"Hel we think it's time that you get to go on patrols with us. But only if you think your ready." I say " I am ready to go patrolling." They smile then give me a new suit. It is a black suit like my moms with a short cape like my dads and a gadget belt. Also has all of the extras in there also.
My first real night on patrol. I am so excited. I am going around and then I see and explosion I use the comms and there are two other explosions I go to my explosion alone and come face to face with Jj. I am worried I have no backup. I fight him this time we are evenly matched. We fight and fight then we both fall down from pure exhaustion. I get up and try to rope him but he runs away. I sigh another time maybe.
I turn around and dad and mom are there. I sigh I guess I'm in trouble. They make me practice for seven hours straight and I get very few water breaks.
