Chapter 2: vampires are real

Mia's p.o.v

I started to slowly wake up, I was in a car and the driver was that creepy guy klaus from yesterday night.

'Good morning' he smirked as I glared at him. I instantly tried opening the door but of course they were locked.

'HELP' I yelled trying to break the window.

'Calm down we're almost there' he noted.

'Where exactly are we?' I asked puzzled.

'New Orleans' he answered as my eyes widened.

'My sister is gonna kill me, stop the car!' I roared. Surprisingly he did as he was told.

'This is my home' he said pointing at the ancient building.

'It looks like a broken castle' I said eying it.

'It used to be once' he answered opening the door of the car as I got out.

'It was you wasn't it? Who poisoned my drink' I glared at him.

'Well I did compel the waiter to poison your drink' he said grabbing my arm before dragging me inside his house.

'So why do you care about Damon's stake anyway?' I asked.

'Stop asking questions' he said looking into my eyes.

'Why?' I raised my eyebrows.

'Oh I see you're on vervain you can't be compelled' he sighed.

'What the fuck are you talking about?' I asked again.

'But I have other ways to make you shut up' he glared at me annoyed. I instantly fell quiet.

'Who is that?' A blonde girl came into the room looking at me. Now's my call for help.

'That idiot' I said pointing a klaus, 'kidnaped me on the day of my birthday, and also attacked my friend' I explained.

'What the bloody hell Nik, she's just a kid what do you possibly want from her?' The blonde girl snapped.

'You see Rebekah, her boyfriend damon Salvatore has the final white oak stake, so unless you don't wanna die or watch a family member perish we should be using her as leverage' klaus told the blonde girl who's name was Rebekah.

'What's going on here?' A hot guy wearing a tux suddenly appeared, followed by another blonde girl and some cute boy probably my age. Damn were they all hot in the family? Mia snap out of it this klaus guy kidnapped you, I reminded myself.

'Mia Forbes' I suddenly felt the need to introduce myself.

'Forbes?' Klaus's eyes widened. 'Are you related to Caroline Forbes?' He asked.

'Yeah she's my sister' I replied as rebekah bursted out laughing and klaus looked shocked.

'Allow me to introduce myself, Elijah Mikaelson. Please excuse my brother's behavior' the formal one said pulling his hand out.

'Kol' the one who looked my age said leaning on the wall.

'Im Freya' the blonde girl smiled.

'And I'm Rebekah' Rebekah sighed.

'Nice to meet you guys...can I like call my sister before she calls the cops and starts freaking out?' I asked.

'Freya could you cast a spell and get her to shut up?' Klaus snapped.

'Cast a spell? What?' I bursted out laughing.

'Oh don't act surprised love, of course you knew your sister was a vampire and her best friends are too' he said.

'Vampires?' I fell on the floor dying of laughers.

'I think she's under shock' Elijah said.

'I think you're all boring the shit out of me' kol frowned.

'Blood sucking vampires? You mean like in twilight! And werewolves too?' I hiccuped laughing uncontrollably.

'Im about to rip her apart' klaus said before Rebekah held him back.

'And let me guess you guys are vampires right?' I giggled.

'Yes it's true!' Klaus roared approaching me as his eyes turned around and I noticed the veins circling his eyes.

I was quiet for a bit. All you could hear was silence. Until I bursted out laughing again.

'Oh c'mon people! Where are the cameras? Which prank show is this?' I said laughing even more.

'If you won't shut up I swear to you I will rip your throat out with my teeth!' He threatened. That shut me up.

'You needn't worry child, I will not let Niklaus hurt you' Elijah said. 'You have my word' he promised.

'Her necklace Nik, it has vervain, rip it off and compelled' kol pointed at my necklace.

Klaus was in a second next to me and he had ripped out the necklace.

'Hey give that back!' I said trying to grab the necklace with my hand, and suddenly Klaus flew and broke the piano.

'Shes a witch' freya gasped. I looked at my hands in shock.

'This keeps on getting weirder' Rebekah noted.

'And let me guess she had no idea she was a witch either?' Klaus said standing up.

'The necklace, it isn't just made of vervain, it's meant to keep her power hidden, that means when she wears it she can't practice magic' freya explained.

'I must be dreaming' I frowned.

'No you're not, you're a witch, just like me' freya said. Don't worry I'll teach you everything you need to know' freya added.

'Great keep her busy, now I've got two problems on my back' klaus muttered.

'How am I supposed to explain to Caroline that I just kidnapped her sister, and made her discover she had hidden magic, oh also revealed the fact that vampires exist and that her sister was one too' klaus continued.

'So you guys are really vampires?' I asked as Rebekah nodded.

'I can prove you that by draining you out of your blood' kol smirked.

'That won't be necessary thanks' I put my hands up.

'Good morning' another girl suddenly walked in.

'Let me guess you're a vampire too' I frowned.

'Who is she?' She asked.

'Its nothing hailey' Elijah sighed.

'Im Mia, and apparently a witch' I said sarcastically, I had no idea what the hell I was. But what happened was the weirdest thing ever.
