A staggering two days passed.
More endless, pointless arguments sounded in Adrien and Chloe's flat.
Adrien had the day off that day.
He decided to walk to his old school, Collège Françoise Dupont, and stood there for a while. His heart ached terribly of the happy memories he had shared with Ladybug and Marinette.
"Hello, Adrien."
A familiar voice spoke. Adrien turned round to see Marinette Dupain Cheng, standing there, staring intensely at him with those bluebell eyes...
"You're back." It wasn't a question.
"Yes." Marinette sighed. "I've missed yo- I mean, I've missed coming here."
"Yeah."
"Where's Alya and Nino?" Marinette asked him.
"Alya has gone to work in northern Paris. Nino moved away, as well," Adrien said sadly.
"Oh." Marinette shook her head.
"Where are you living?" Adrien asked.
"I brought the bakery again!" Marinette said cheerfully.
Adrien smiled. "That's good news."
"Where do you live?" Marinette asked.
"I live in a block of flats."
"I thought you lived in -"
"I moved out." Adrien said quickly. The less said about it, the better.
"OK." Marinette said. "How are things with you?"
"Good." Adrien looked round. "Wanna go to mine instead?"
"OK." Marinette nodded. "Let's go."
A little while later, the pair were at his flat. Adrien showed her the whole place. Marinette was a very polite guest indeed, Adrien discovered.
Adrien got the comic. "I still have it." He said. Marinette blushed.
"T-thanks." She stuttered.
It all happened very suddenly. Marinette jumped forward and hugged him. "I missed you." She admitted.
"So did I," Adrien said, hugging her back. "So did I."
The pair were so distracted, they barely noticed the furious slam of the front door. Footsteps sounded and a figure turned the corner.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE???"
