Adrien stared up at the plain white ceiling. Things had not gone right for him the night before. Chloe had abruptly ignored him after Adrien begrudgingly told her about everything that had happened yesterday. He was starting to wish that he had never moved out with Chloe.

He rolled over in the sofa, which was small and empty, as Chloe had ordered him to sleep there. He sighed. There was no point trying to catch some sleep. He was awake and had been the whole night.

He rubbed his eyes of imaginary sleep and walked over to window, his feet dragging in the thick, soft carpet that pillowed his every step.

He drew open the curtains and stared at the slightly less busy streets below. He produced his phone. He looked at all his contacts, and way down at the bottom was Marinette.

He decided to text her.

Adrien: Let's meet up at Collège Françoise Dupont.

There was an eerie silence. Adrien switched off his phone and waited. As soon as he had,

Beep!

His phone vibrated and he picked it up. Marinette had answered.

Marinette: OK.

He switched off his phone and pulled on his clothes. He raced out the door to his old school.

-------------------------------------------------------

Marinette was very happy. She had wanted to see Adrien so bad since yesterday, and was glad that she was given a chance. She pulled on her clothes and rushed to the school she knew and loved.

Adrien was there when she arrived. She smiled warmly at him.

"Hello, Adrien," she said.

"Hello, Marinette," came the reply.

"How are things?" Marinette asked. Adrien sighed loudly and sat on the school steps. Marinette sat next to him.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

Adrien sighed again. "I'm not very happy. My relationship with Chloe......it's not going very well."

"Then you need to tell her."

"What?" Adrien looked up at Marinette, surprised by her sudden wisdom.

"Talk to her. Tell her how you feel."

"OK, I will." Adrien said, standing up. "Where do you want to go?"

"How about we go to mine?" Marinette offered. "I have cookies."

Adrien smiled. "That sounds like a good idea." He said.

Ten minutes later, Marinette and Adrien arrived at her bakery. Marinette unlocked the door with the key that was in her bag. Marinette offered Adrien a cookie, and sat him down, so the pair could talk over their current affairs and catch up.

However, through the window, a figure stood, intently watching the pair. The wind swept their auburn hair.

"You will be found out." Were the words that the figure whispered under their breath. "I will make sure of that."

Then the figure took off, their feet light as a feather as they sped through the busy streets, going to Adrien's flat to reveal their secret meeting.
