I stood frozen for what felt like 10 minutes but in reality was just a minute. I have a habit of thinking too much, or as most call it overthinking about nothing, so I shook my head and walked over to the swing bed. I came here to relax after all, I don't want these few peaceful minutes to be ruined by just a swift, unimportant...encounter.

I decided to ignore my thoughts as I laid down but I don't think I could ignore the powerful thrums of my heart as my mind just wouldn't give up from the memories of just a moment ago. The wind blew some strands of hair onto my face as I closed my eyes to enjoy the feeling.

I enjoy my peaceful time too much to have it ruined by disturbing, or if I were to admit, thriving thoughts of what I came across here on the rooftop.

"More like who I came across on the rooftop." I admitted. A sigh left my lips as I rubbed my face harshly. What is this crap? Why can't I get him out of my head? I don't even know him for that matter. But the muscular arms, the tattoo filled hands, the alluring green eyes and that dark yet charming aura surrounding him made me crave to know him. Whatsoever, thinking about it, or him, it's just a waste of time so I grabbed my bag and dug In to find the current vampire novel I'm reading. Placing it onto my lap I felt my muscles relax as I started getting lost in the pages.

Time went by fast enough and before I knew it, it was time to get back to class. I walked down the hallway with a smile on my face because to be honest, I love literature. As soon as I entered the class I saw Anna sitting on the front row with her feet up on the table. Her phone was in her hand but she seemed to be scrolling endlessly without really looking at it. Her eyes left the screen for a moment turning towards to door where she sees me coming in.

"Finally here, I thought I was to die of boredom!" She whines with a frown. I laughed at her statement.

"I've never heard anyone's cause of death being boredom." I replied with an amused tone. Why are you here so early anyways? You're usually running to get here on time."

A death glare was shot my way right after my reply. "Well you would have known that Jonny had to go because of his coach and that I had no one to hang out with if you hadn't 'poofed' at lunch." She spat at me making an exploding gesture when she said poofed.

I rolled my eyes at her. "Oh c'mon no one to hang out with? Seriously? You could have hung out with the others."

She nodded her head "yeah totally, you know me and Ade are almost twins, by soul I mean. Or Reyna, oh she's my lost sister and how could I forget Dakota! Her and I can have cheerleader talk all day long! Just my type! Thanks Reach, you opened up my eyes." She gave me the widest sarcastic smile ever while putting both her thumbs up.

That made me bend my head back in laughing agony. Don't you love this girl?!

The teacher walked in making Anna put her legs down and give me the "this is not over" look. I laughed it off and paid attention to the class until about 15 minutes into it someone opened the door.

"Sorry I'm late." I heard that masculine voice say. That voice that I was almost becoming familiar to.

The teacher nodded without removing his eyes from the board and motioned for Xander to sit down. As he walked was me to get to the back rows his eyes caught my glance in just the split of the second. The smell of his cologne hit me hard and I couldn't help myself from taking a deep breath.

I have never liked cologne before or maybe that's what i thought because all the males that I am close to wear perfume. And by all the males i mean Jonny and my dad. Yeah I suck. What surprises me though is the fast that I really like this smell, it's soft but the strong lingering smell it leaves behind is alluring.
