Chapter 3

A knock came to my bedroom door. I checked the time; 9:00am. Then my mom came in the room.

"Hey, honey. How are you holding up?", she asked.

"Hi. I'm fine I guess.", I replied. I don't think I lied.

"Well, get ready and eat you're breakfast. We have to go to the airport to pick up your father."

"Oh yea. I forgot he was coming back today. I'll be down in about 20 minutes."

"Okay!" She left the room and closed the door shut.

I checked my phone. 20 likes on Instagram. That car crash got me famous. I also check my messages.

I received a message from Crystal saying;

Crystal; hay! I was wondering if you're free today so we can go to the mall with Tyler, Kaya, Sean, and Taylor.

Me; yeah! Sure! I'm going to pick up my dad from the airport with my mom. So I'll call you when I'm home.

Crystal; Kay, see you later, alligator!

I went to go brush my teeth, but my sister was taking forever in the bathroom. It's unbelievable how we're twin sisters, but have nothing in common.

"Hailey, HURRY UP IN THE BATHROOM! DAMNIT!, I yelled.

"FINE. ILL BE OUT SOON AND WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE.", she replied. This girl and her manners😒✋.

I gave her the stank look when she left the bathroom. I ran into the bathroom and took a shower as fast as I can. I ran into my room and put my lotion and clothes on. It's summer so I was wearing:

- A crop top with an infinity sign

- Shorts

- Jordan's

I ran downstairs to eat my breakfast and ran out the house with my mom. I was excited because this was the first time I would have seen my father in 2 months. He's a diplomat and I missed him so much while he was gone. I started driving, ready to see my father.
