I still love him, you know? Even though he cheated on me, I still love him. Collin was the greatest guy in the world. He wasn't perfect. I just need answers from him. You see, I love him and hate him. Ever had the feeling? Sometimes you want to strangle him/her the other times you guys wanna kiss and hug him/her.

Mom's funeral was 3 days after I bought the dress. I wore a 3.5 inch heels with a scarf with the dress. My hair was in a bun and I wore my fanciest jewelry. With a little makeup on, I went into the funeral car with Grandma, Hailey, and Dad.

Everyone greeted us with hugs and kisses. People told me that it wasn't my fault she died, but I know it was. I have a feeling it was. They said;

"It wasn't you fault she died, Lilly. I know it and you know it too. God was calling her and she went to Him. She's in a better place now."

They all said the same thing, but it didn't work. I was still in denial that this wasn't my fault. It was my fault and it will always stay like that.

Once people settled down and sat, we started saying prayers for Mom.

Mom,

You're in a better place now. I still think all of this is my fault. If I wasn't crying and if I was paying attention, we would still be together, happily. I love you and I will always. I miss you.

Then, it was time for speeches about memories, stories, etc. about Mom. Dad went up first.

"Hello. Um. Carrie was my wife. She was a mother, a wife, a best friend, a sister, a cousin, a niece, an aunt, a neighbor. She was the best woman out there. She was really nice, intelligent, and smart. I remember in high school that I needed help with Math. Everyone recommended me to go to her. That's how we first met. That how my family started. But now, we are remembering the starter of my family. Carrie was like a best friend and a wife to me. She helps me with problems I have and I help her with hers. She's a really excellent person overall. Carrie is in a better place right now. I love you, Carrie, and I miss you.", Dad said.

He returned to his seat. He started sobbing. I felt his pain. Hailey went up next and then it was my turn. I slowly walked up to the microphone.

Once I finally got to the microphone, I started looking around. I looked around at all the people I let down, about 225. I, then, began speaking.

"Hi, everyone. Most of you know me as Carrie's, my mom, daughter. My mom is the best woman in the world. She's not perfect, no one is. She's the sweetest, most caring and smart, person in the world. My mom taught me to do good in life and I would be rewarded. I remember when I was little, Mom baked this really good homemade cookies about once a month. They were hot and fresh right after I came home. I would try and eat all of them before Hailey, my sister, came home. I could never because I was too full. Mom was also like a best friend. I told her everything and she would tell me what to do or how to deal with it. Most of you think that this isn't my fault, but it is. It will always be. But, Mom's in a better place now. She's watching over us right now. I love you Mom and I miss you."

Everyone started clapping and sobbing after my speech. I returned back to my seat, and grandmas began talking.

After she was finished, it was time to bury her. Dad, my uncles, and other men carried the casket to where it would be buried. It was a wooden casket with an off white plush inside, in which she lays on.

Once again it was time for prayers. After that was done, I spotted a piano. I walked towards it and started playing "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. Mom always used to sing this to me when I was little.

I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,

And each road leads you where you want to go,

And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,

I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.

And if one door opens to another door closed,

I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,

If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,

But more than anything, more than anything,

My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,

Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,

You never need to carry more than you can hold,

And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,

I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,

Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,

All the ones who love you, in the place you left,

I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,

And you help somebody every chance you get,

Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,

And you always give more than you take.

But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,

My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,

Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,

You never need to carry more than you can hold,

And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,

I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,

Yeah, this, is my wish.

This is my wish

I hope you know somebody loves you

May all your dreams stay big

I then realized that everyone crowed around me. They were clapping and crying. This was my remembrance for mom.

"That was beautiful", said Grandma, Dad, and Hailey. I also heard that about 1000 more times.

**AUTHOR'S NOTE**

Hope you like this chapter. The song in this chapter is the song that I heard at the Pinning Ceremony this year. It's called "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. It's a really good song. Anyways, keep reading, voting and commenting.
