Ch. 6 The Date

Today it was all the same until I got home. This morning my mom yelled at me, then the people at school teased me about everything that is wrong with me. But when I came home my day changed. Louis asked me out! I have had a crush on him since the first day I met him. He said that he has liked me too but has been too shy to admit it. Of course I said yes. He said we can go Friday at 7:00. I asked him where but he said it was a surprise.

I can't wait till Friday. I'm excited to see where he is taking me. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday past and everything was the same. But today it is Friday! I go to school and that part is the same. I come home at 3:30 and Louis was sitting in the living room with the guys. I pull him to the hall and ask what to wear. He said just wear normal clothes. Then I go to my room and start painting. 6:00 comes and I start getting ready. I wear my jeans and a cute floral purple shirt. 6:30 comes and Louis and I start leaving.

"We are almost there, close your eyes, I want this to be a complete surprise." Louis says. "Ok." I say as I close my eyes. We drive for what seems to be 5 minutes. "Ok, open your eyes now." Louis says. As I open my eyes I see we are at the fair. "Oh my god, I love the fair!" I told him. "I thought you would." He said. "Thanks." I say.

We go in and eat dinner first. Then while we are waiting for our food to settle, we go play some games. We played a ring toss game; I was no good but Louis was a really good shot. He won a giant teddy bear and gave it to me. About a half an hour later we ride some rides. We ride a giant roller coaster and I cling to Louis for dear life. I look at the picture and I look terrified, but he thought it was cute.

It was about midnight and before we left we ride the Farris wheel. The line wasn't that long because the fair was about to close. When we got to the top we looked out over the city and looked up at the stars. I look over and Louis is staring at me. Our eyes met then we leaned in and kissed.

He kissed me. He actually kissed me. I was really happy when he asked me out, but I wasn't expecting him to kiss me. I wonder what he's going to say about it.

Louis POV

I kissed her. I can't believe I was brave enough to kiss her. I guess I was caught up in the moment, but she just looked so pretty, I couldn't resist. I wonder what she is going to say.

Ali's POV

I woke up and I went out to the living room to see if Louis was awake yet. He was sitting in the living room watching tv. I came un and he looked at me. I went over and sat down next to him.

"Hey, about last night, I got caught up in the moment, but I was wondering... Did you like it or was it awkward?" He asked me. "No I liked it, I got caught up in the moment too, but I really did like it." I said. "Good, I thought you would think it was weird. So do you want to go on a second date?" He asked me. "Sure, where should we go?" I asked him. How about this new sushi place I saw, tonight?" He asked. "Sure, tonight."

8:00 and we are at a sushi place called "the taste of Japan". We sit there and talk about last night and things like that. "I'm glad we are doing this again." he told me. "Me too." I replied. "Honestly, I've liked you since the day we first met." He said. "I have too, I just didn't know if you would like me." I tell him. As we eat, things just go on casually. It's 9:30 now and we start heading home. As we get home we get ready for bed then go to bed. "Night." Louis says. "Night." I say back.
