Peter. What an amazing name. A name that left tingles down your spine. Peter Parker.
Peter and you had been best friends since grade three. He had helped you with some of the math and you immediatley became friends. But as the years went by, you couldn't help being drawn to him. Your feelings grew so much with every second that you thought about him.
Ned, your other best friend, noticed it right away. The little looks you gave Peter, the quirkyness between you both. You hoped it wasn't really obvious.
Luckily, Peter was oblivious, and that was perfect. You didn't want him to know. You were fine with being friends, even though a little part of your heart ached.
"(Y/N)" Peter called running towards you, in the school hall. "(Y/N)! I have something to ask you!"
"What is it Peter?" You ask when Peter finally catches up to you. Your heart beats a little faster. It does that everytime you are around him.
"I was wondering if you would like to help me work at Sam's. You would get paid."Sam's was a little pizza parlour down the street from their apartment building. You would sometimes work there with Peter to help Mr. Sam out.
You walked to your last class with Peter. Science. You and Peter were both very good and loved being partners. As soon as class ended, you walked out together into the fresh air.
With your backpacks on your backs, you both walked over to Sam's. When you came in, Mr. Sam greeted you both with a smile, and returned to his work. Once you were settled, you helped wait the tables in the restaurant. After doing that for two hours, you switched with a few other workers to help make pizzas.
You and Peter were the perfect match for making them. He was great at making the dough flat and baking the pizza, and you were good at making the sauce and dicing, slicing, and shredding everything perfectly. You enjoyed a few laughs together as you cooked, and soon enough had made enough pizzas.
Today was Monday, and on Monday the pizza shop closed at six. Mr. Sam paid you both and told you to make a pizza for yourselves before closing up. You both grabbed everything you needed from the storage room.
You and Peter both wanted to make a simple margherita pizza, with cheese, tomato, basil, and you added pepperoni to the bunch.
Making one last pizza, you smiled. That was enough pizza making for the day. You both waited as the pizza baked, and Peter took it out. It was baked perfectly. You and Peter both ate two slices, leaving four more to package for themselves. But first, you had to clean up.
Cleaning up the counter space was easy. They had not made very much of a mess. Peter wiped the counter down as you gathered every jar that you had used.
"(Y/N), I had a really fun time doing this with you. Thanks so much for helping." Peter smiled.
"Hey no problem Peter! I was happy to help!" You returned the smile. "Hey, will you help me take all these jars back into the storage room?"
"Of course!"
You and Peter grabbed the jars in your hands. The storage room had a couple fridges in it to store all the frozen and cold foods.
Walking down the hall, you turned on the light outside of it. Peter opened the door for you and you both walked in.
You didn't worry about the door closing because for it to be closed, it needed to be locked.
You shouldn't have thought that. As you did, the door was locked shut.
"Hey guys!" A voice said from behind the door. It sounded familiar. "You ditched me, guys!!!!"
