You only see one girl in the whole shop, and you know it must be Emily. You leap from the door, chanting her name as you take long strides to the table that seated four that she was sitting at.
"(Y/n)! (Y/n)!" She also leaps up. "I have learnt so much about you!" Then, she sees Finn standing near the doorway and all of her was invested into Finn. Due to Finn being here, and Emily finally coming back, they hadn't seen each other in months.
It was almost like those scenes in the movies, were the two people run towards each other in slow motion. And just like in the movies, Emily jumped on Finn. It was almost less cheesy than it usually is.
Finn kisses her forehead and tucked her short-ish brown hair behind her ear. They both had really big smiles on their faces, and you and Peter were just sitting in the corner, fangirling.
You heard Finn murmur "I missed you so much." And that didn't help at all. They both snap out of their daze, with a little blush on their cheeks.
"I'm so sorry about that. I'm Emily, I know that you are (Y/n), and you're.... Peter?"
Peter nods, he still gets a little shy around some people. You grab his hand and lead him towards the non-existant line, as it is quite a calm time in the shop.
You get your favourite drink and sit at the table. Emily already has hers so she sits down as well. "So Emily, how long have you two been dating?"
"Well, me met a bit before we started filming for It. And then it kind of went on from there."
"Awww. I'm sorry, I'm just a die hard romantic." You laugh. "Oh right! I need to ask you this question. And be honest with me because then we can bond over it. Doesn't Finn look like a frog?"
She shifts uncomfortable for a second before responding. "To be honest, he looks like a cute frog." You both start laughing. Finn looks over, his face showing his confusion. You both stifle your laughs and start to whisper.
"I mean, it's true though." You say. "Mind you, Peter sort of looks like he may have a frog in his mouth. I don't know what it is."
You both have a very interesting conversation before you were joined by the boys.
Sadly, the fun had to end.
"But I don't want to leave Emily!" You pout, very upset that it was time to go.
Emily comes over and pats your head. "There, there, young (Y/n). Don't worry, you will see me again."
You hug her once more. You whisper into her ear. "I'm just saying, you make Finn so much happier. Thank you."
"No problem." She whispers back.
"You have to invite me on set though... Promise?"
"Promise."
