Chapter 4

Alice

Max's alarm clock on her phone went off and I groaned. "Up up, pretty. You have a test in 2 hours." A voice chimed.

I laid on my back and saw Max already showered and dressed. Max was dressed in a muscle shirt and sweatpants. "What if I don't wanna? What if I wanted to stay here and cuddle with you?" I pouted and started to fake cry.

I looked through my fingers and saw Max smirking at me. "I wish, sweetie. But you have to get ready. So come on. Get showered and dressed and we'll have a quick breakfast date before your test." He said.

I sighed and got out of bed and grabbed whatever out of Max's closet. Which was shorts and a pink tank top. I grabbed underwear out of the drawer and ran to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

I was out of the bathroom in 10 minutes and I saw Max fast asleep in bed. I giggled and crawled into bed with him. He moaned and woke up. "Shh go back to sleep. This is perfect." I said and cuddled into Max. He laughed and rubbed my back. "Ten minutes. But that's it."

I huffed and cuddled into Maxy as he set an alarm for 10 minutes and then held me close. I always loved moments like this. Where Max would hold me. He always did when we were teenagers because we spent 99% of our time together then but once we got to college, and especially graduation coming closer and closer, we barely had enough time to do this. So any and every moment I had to cuddle with him than I will take that opportunity.

His phone buzzed and made noise. "Nooo." I pouted and cuddled into him more. "I am an adult and I refuse to listen to a phone!!" I said. Max laughed at me and got up and picked me up bridal style. "Let's go princess. You got a test." He told me and turned his phone off before we left the dormroom and dorm building, him still carrying me.

He set me down once we got outside and kissed my forehead. "I'll see you later. Okay? For lunch." He told me. I sighed and nodded. "Okay. I love you." I told him and he smiled. "I love you too, miss Alice." He said and gave me a soft kiss.

I pulled him against me and deepened the kiss. "No PDA out in the open, nerds." I heard behind me and and laughter erupted around us. I pulled away and looked at the guy who said it. "I don't give a flying fuck what you think." I said, gave him the finger, and kissed Max again.

Max smiled against my lips. "I'll see you later, sexy." He told me and pecked my lips before we went our separate ways.
