Chapter 10

At the end of the day, Max and I ended back up at my dorm room as Christie, Max, and I watch as Pugsley and Murphy got used to the room and to each other. It was big enough for both of them to be ok. Good thing by the time they grew more, Max and I would have already graduated.

Christie was a junior so she still had one more year here. But we were still good friends and we would talk more after I graduate and got a job.

Murphy crawled up between Max and I on my bed and settled and fell asleep. He was leaning on Max but his head was on my lap. Pugsley tried climbing onto Christie's bed but he was too small. "Aww. Poor little Pugsley." Christie said and helped him up. Pugsley cuddled into her lap and snorted.

I leaned my head on Max's shoulder. "Thanks for Murphy." I said. Max smiled at me and kissed me. "No problem. I know how much you wanted a puppy so I got you one." He smiled and kissed me again.

Murphy moved in his sleep and cuddled more into Max. I smiled. "So cute." I sighed and yawned. "Tired?" Christie asked. I nodded as I started to doze off. "I should probably get going. It is late." Max said. I grabbed him by the waist before he could get up. "I'll see you tomorrow baby." He chuckled and wiggled out of my arms.

Murphy woke up and whimpered. "Sorry, bud. Daddy's gotta go." Max said and scratched his head. "Love you both." Max said and left before I fully fell asleep with Murphy next to me.
