Listen to my favorite song at the side! I was listening to that while working on this.

"Hey Al, someone's here to see you!" Em said. I hopped out of my room with my good leg to see Evan with a huge smile on his face and about six books. "Oh God please don't tell me that's my homework!"
"Sorry Al, we've got to study. Tay was gonna come, but she had to do some work for the newspaper." He placed the books on the coffee table and I hopped to sit next to him on the couch. Nicole came out of the guest room she and Em are sharing for the time being in a beautiful black dress that hugged her curves perfectly. Emmalie was wearing skinny jeans and a striped hoodie.
"Bye guys I'm going to the party Kole invited me to." Nic informed us when she opened the door and Kole was there. It was so obvious they liked each other. "Isn't it a bit too early?" I asked.
"Oh poor Allie, you are just so innocent."
When they closed the door, Em had an eyebrow raised. "Since when did that happen?" She muttered before saying she had to go out and meet someone before disappearing out the door.
"So that leaves us two here." Evan said awkwardly. I gave him a small smile before he started to help me with my homework, or should I say me help him with his homework.
When I got stuck on one question for History, i laid my head to the side, the back of my head facing him. "What time is it already?" I asked.
"It's five forty eight." He responded. I felt his hand playing with my hair. We've been studying for over two hours. Shifting my head to face him, I close my eyes. I felt his soft fingers push a strand back and I felt him kiss my lips.
Opening my eyes, Evan traced his tongue on my lower lip, but I pushed him away gently. "Ev, what the hell was that?" I asked, still shocked. My lips had a tingling feeling to it, but I didn't really know how I feel about what happened.
He bit his lip. I'm sorry Al. It's just, you're just so beautiful and I-I like you. A lot." He whispered the last part.
Evan, I'm sorry. I like you too, but just as a friend."
He stroked my cheek gently. "Don't worry, you'll fall in love with me soon." He said before pecking my lips again. He stood up in a flash, putting on his hoodie. "Well, I've got to go. Thanks." He winked before getting out the door, a dorky grin still on his face.
Leaning on the back of the couch, I touched my lips. That was...weird. Definitely weird. I've known him for a few weeks and he felt like a brother to me, but why was it that I--not like, but I didn't hate it either--the kiss?
Confused, the door was knocked. I stood up on my good leg and hopped towards the door to see Liam running a hand through his hair.
"Oh. Um, hey Lee, what are you doing here?" I asked. He held up a pack of chocolate drops "We need to make cookies for Home Ec."
He walked in without my consent and under the mellow light of my apartment, I noticed a bruise under his cheekbone and he had a bit of dried blood on his lip. "Holy shit what the hell happened to you?" I asked, my jaw hung open a bit.
