IMPORTANT NOTE AT THE END
*
I closed the door behind me, my fists were clenched. It was really hard to just peck Allie on the lips like that when I really wanted to take her into my arms and kiss her with all I have.
But she seemed off. Something was bothering her. That sad glint in her eyes, as if she was doubting something.
Didn't she really believe that I like her? I went in the fucking haunted house with her just because she asked. She really doesn't see the things I do for her.
Brandon came out of his room, shirtless and in his boxers. His hair was messy in a way I knew what was going on in the bedroom. "Hey, where've you been all day?" He asked, trying to fix his sex hair. I sighed, sitting on the couch.
"I don't know what to think, Brandon. I mean, Allie's so hard to figure out. It was like at one moment her eyes had that look and then the next, she was cold. What is it with her? Girls are so damn hard to figure out."
Brandon's lips turned upward. "Do you love her?"
The question caught me off guard. This was puppy love, I know, but she was different from the other girls. She was bubbly, innocent, and I loved how she's so naive about everything. It was adorable, and she has that one thing that I couldn't seem to find with other girls.
"I don't know. I know that I like her, but love? I've known her for almost two months." I reasoned. It was pretty weird that I like her, I mean, I treated girls with respect, but that doesn't mean I treated them like they matter. Allie was the first one who made me feel this way.
He ruffled my hair, a smirk on his lips. "You know what I think? I think she's scared. She's scared of falling because you hurt her before, and well, that's hard. Girls really are confusing, hell they might not be worth all the effort." He says, before he shakes his head, his smirk turning into a soft smile, one that made me remember what he was like when I was younger.
"But you know, love is all about taking risks. Maybe she's not worth it, maybe she is, but you'll never really know if you don't try."
I stare at him, shaking my head. "You're so corny Brandon." I say, running a hand through my hair. He smirks again, and I heard a door open.
I turned my head to see a tall blond fixing her tiny shirt. She looks up and blushes when she sees me, and I just chuckle then headed to my room.
I went to get my laptop on my bedside table and waited for it to turn on.
Was she really worth it. I don't know. Maybe she wasn't, maybe she is. But Brandon was right, I'd never know if I didn't take the risk.
Logging into my facebook account, I scrolled down my chatbox and saw that Allie was online. I click on her name, and a chatbox popped out. I cleared my throat, as if I was going to talk to her personally.
