The Mansion

Split Up

We are all in the study. We all are frightened of what could happen next. Every little noise made Mr. Green jump. Miss Scarlet was drinking. Mrs. Peacock looked scared to death. Everyone else just sat there calmly.

"Why don't we look upstairs." Said Colonel Mustard

"That may be a bit risky, don't you think?" Asked Wadsworth

"Well, yes but we need to find a killer, or more people may die and we don't want that now do we!" Said colonel Mustard

"Well.... no, we don't" Wadsworth replied

"Glad we all agree. Let's split up!" Said Colonel Mustard

"What? Split up, but we can easily be killed that way!" Said Mr. Green as he panicked

"Yes, harder if you have a partner." Replied Colonel Mustard

We all left the study and stood in the hallway. Wadsworth randomly paired people. Miss Scarlet was with Mrs. White, Colonel Mustard was with Mrs. Peacock, Professor Plum was with Wadsworth, and then Yvette, Mr. Green and I were together. There was an uneven amount so there was going to have to be a group of three.

"Well, uh... professor Plum and I will go up stairs. Colonel, you two go up to the attic. Yvette and Mr. Green and Charlie stay here on this floor, and Miss Scarlet and Mrs. White go to the cellar." Said Wadsworth

We all walked over to the places we were directed to go to. Mr. Green holds onto my arm with fear. Yvette holds on to Mr. Greens arm with fear.

"Let's check the dining room" Yvette suggests

"Alright." Mr. Green says

We walk towards the dining room to see no one in there. I bend over to look under the table, nothing. We walk towards the kitchen door.

"Be careful of the knives on the counter." Said Mr. Green

"Look in the freezer." Said Yvette as she motioned to the freezer

I walked over to the freezer. I open it up.

"There's nothing." I replied

"Just a bunch of... frozen meat hanging off the hooks." Said Mr. Green

We walked out of the kitchen. We head over to the billiard room. Mr. Green stands out in the hallway. I'm the only one that walks into the billiard room. Yvette looks in the bathroom.

"I'll just look around in the library." Mr. Green whispered over to me

I just nodded, because I didn't want to make to much noise. I hear creaking from Mr. Green walking to the library. I saw Yvette walk across the hallway. I just kept looking in the billiard room. I hear the cellar door creak open. I see Mrs. White walk out. She goes into the bathroom and closes the door. I head toward the bar that is in the billiard room.

"Charlie, have you found anything?" Asked Mr. Green

"No, just a bunch of empty liquor bottles." I replied

He chuckled and headed back out in the hallway. I saw Yvette walk in the lounge. I go towards the pool table and look under neath it. I hear creaking again. It's probably just Mr. Green again I thought to myself. The lights turned off again. I just stood there wide eyed. I was afraid to move. All I hear is a big thump and clicking. The lights turn on again. Everyone that was upstairs, came running down. Mrs. White comes out of the bathroom slowly, Miss Scarlet comes out of the cellar. We all look around. Mr. Green is walking towards the lounge door.

"Yvette!" Yelled Mr. Green

We all rushed over to the lounge door. Yvette was now dead. There was a knife and a rag on the ground. You could tell she was stabbed in the stomach.

"Who ever killed her must have put the rag over her mouth so we couldn't hear her scream." Said Colonel Mustard

People were dying faster and faster. I had a tear in my eye, I was truly scared. I didn't know what was going to happen now. It almost seemed like we were all going to be killed. We picked her body up and put it in the study with the others.

"This is getting ridiculous! We can't stay here any longer, we have to call the police." Yelled Mr. Green

"But what if it has to do with something with Mr. Boddy. Then we would all be dead." Said Miss Scarlet

"If we stay here, we all may die anyway!" Said Professor Plum

We all knew we may die either way. We all stood there looking at each other. What were we going to do now?
