chapter 4

Mary POV
Everyone was confusing me when they were talking about me and Ethan. I don't like him in that way, used to but not anymore. I like Jack, but I wish I didn't, I mean he is my best friend and his girlfriend is my best friend too. WHYYYY???
"Are you ok?" Corbyn asked looking at me.
Crap now I look like an idiot staring into space.
"Yeah you kinda do" Fariha says giggling.
"Crap, did I say that out loud? What did you hear?" I say concerned
"Nothing just about you being an idiot staring into space." Fariha says still giggling
I roll my eyes
"Yes Corbyn I am good" I say responding to Corbyn's question.
" anyway we have to go do some groceries." Hannah says giving them a hint to leave.
"Oh where is the nearest grocery store?" Jack asks
"There is a target on campus it is on the corner of this dorm building,  I think." Hannah says to Jack.
"So we have to go now. So please leave." I say joking
"Ok madam." Ethan says bowing toward me.
I rolled my eyes.
"What did you do Ethan, we do not want to upset the queen. Sorry madam."  Jack says bowing down
"Haha very funny!" I say.
I look at the corner of my eye seeing Zach sitting in the corner laughing his butt off.
" oh you think you can laugh at the queen." I say jokingly and zach.
"I am sorry madam." He says trying to be serious but failing very badly.
"Ok, but seriously we have to get some stuff from the store, either come with us or go back to your dorm." B says
"Ok, ok." Jack says putting his hands in the air.
All the girls get our purses and wallets so we can go to target. Then we walk all of the boys back to their dorm. I give all of them a hug and Daniel, Zach, and jack give me a kiss on the cheek.  When jack gave me a kiss  on the cheek I got major butterflies in my stomach. Then I saw him and Jenna kiss and then my heart just sank.
Then we walk our way to target.
"So, how is it going between you and jack?" B asks jenna
" it is going great I don't think i will ever love anyone as much as I love him!" Jenna says
"I honestly feeling the same way, except about the part it going great between me and him." I whisper to Fariha.
"I am sorry baby, but I promise you, you will find someone better than him, someone who is fit for you." Fariha says trying to cheer me up.
"Thanks, love you." I say to Fariha thanking her for being there for me.
" I love you too!!" Fariha says back to me
This is why I love Fariha I feel like I can tell her anything and she is so understanding. She is my absolute best friend.  She is was my first friend. We have been friends since we were 2 years old. So like 15 years!
--time skip to when they get back from target--
Me and Jenna are sitting in my room and the rest of the girls are in the kitchen sitting on the table in there.
"So what is going on between yiu and Ethan?" Jenna asks
" what do you mean?" I say confused
"Come on he obviously likes you." She says
"Haha that is a funny joke." I say
" I am not joking." Jenna says seriously
"I know I had a crush on him in the beginning of 6th grade and we shared our first kiss, but both of our feelings have changed." I say
"If you say so." Jenna says with a smirk on her face.
"I am serious!" I say
"Ohh what are you gonna do!" Jenna says dancing around teasing me.
I stand up and chase her into my room and start tickling her.
"Stop, stop!" Jenna says laughing in between.
"Only if you take that back!" I say continuing tickling her.
"Ok, I take it back!" She says
"Ok." I say stop tickling her.
