i saw mary giggling and it made me get butterflies in my stomach. everything about her made me nervous. my feelings for her never changed since 6th grade when we shared our first kiss together. but i feel like she sees me as a friend now but my feeling will probably never change, because i am in love with her, even though she does not know it, yet.
"do i have something on my face?" mary asked
"no"i said, then i realized i was staring at her, probably freaking her out.
"then why are you staring me?" she said blushing
she looks so cute when she blushes
"sorry i didn't realize i was doing it." i lie
"real smooth bro" daniel says giggling
"shut up, we are just friends." i say winking
all of guys knew i liked her but they swore they would never tell.
"sure." jack says smirking
"what, i am confused, what is going on?" fariha says
"yeah we are just friends guys there is nothing to be confused about." mary says seriously
ouch that hurt
"haha, you just got friend zoned Ethan!" zach laughed
" it is not as bad as being in the brother zone" hannah says trying to cheer me up
"guys there is nothing going on between us! just cause we shared a kiss in 6th grade does not mean we are a couple!" i say, hoping mary would disagree or look down.
"thank you Ethan that is exactly what they need to know." mary says
