Mary falls for one of the why don't we boys who is with her best friend, but she loses those feelings once she notices her other friend in another way or at least she thinks those feelings fade.

Mary pov I woke up with a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist. Wait did I ever break up with Ethan? Or was that all a dream? Then I turn over and I see jack laying next to me fast asleep (you thought😉), he looks so cute while sleeping. I just lied there studying his facial features. His nose ring and the cute little snore he makes while sleeping. And the beautiful freckles placed on all of the right places on his face but they are not too noticeable. And his teeth that are not perfectly straight on the bottom but still manages to make me smile. And the way his curls are fallen perfectly on his face covering most of his forehead. "ACHOO" I sneezed. Jack's eyes flutter open, crap I woke him up "Bless you" He says with a sleepy grin on his face but his eyes are still shut. "Did you sleep well?" I ask trying to get out of his grasp. "Yes" He says like a baby. But he is still not letting go of me "Let go" I say giggling "No stay with me" He says holding on to me with his strong grip "I will come back I just have to pee" I say "Fine" He then let's go of me and I go into the bathroom and I quickly pee. Then I walk out and I noticed that Fariha is gone then I checked the time and it is 8am. So I lay in bed with jack and I text Fariha. Mary:where are you?? Rita: I am out with Daniel on a hike. Mary:oh ok Rise: see ya later Mary:see ya "Who are you texting" jack asks looking over my shoulder and at my phone. "Fariha, just asking where she is." I respond "Oh where is she?" Jack asks still his head is in the crook on my neck "She is on a hike with Daniel." I tell him "They both always have loved hikes." Jack says and and I turn my phone off and I turn to him. "What are your plans for today?" I ask "Ethan wanted to hang today" jack says "Ok cool" I say "You can tag along" jack offers "Rather not" I say honestly "Why?" Jack ask "Well, I don't want to impose on your guys' time together." I say honestly "Are you sure? I mean the police at school said that some one should be with you at all times." He says. Aww he is looking out for me. But it is probably in a protective brother way "Yeah, I am sure one of the girls can hang out today, maybe Jenna I can help her with her date later today." I say. "Ok" jack says then kisses my forehead, which causes me to get major butterflies in my stomach. Then he gets up and heads to the bathroom. I get up and I make some coffee and then I hear jack come out of the bathroom. And he walks into the kitchen and sits on the counter. "Do you like cream and sugar with your coffee?" I ask him "You don't have to make me coffee." Jack says with a charming smiling on his face "But I already am" I say giving him the beat-you-to-it smile "Fine and yes I do like cream and sugar." He says giving up. So then I put cream and sugar in his coffee and some in mine too and I sit down next to him giving him his coffee. We sit down and talk while drinking our coffee. I feel like I tell him anything, that is probably what makes me fall in love with him. Yes he has a perfect jawline, beautiful brown eyes you can easily get lost into, sweet and innocent smile, and those subtle freckles spread across his face, but he is also one of the most caring people I know and I trust him with my life. Even though we both finished our coffee we still were talking. "Hey What are you two talking about?" Fariha says walking in the dorm from her hike with Daniel. "Nothing much" jack answers and shrugs "Oh ok" Fariha says and walks into our room probably going to take a shower. "Well I probably should get going" jack says getting up "Yeah" I say following him to the door. Then he turns to me and gives me and big hug. His head is placed in the crook of my neck. "If you ever need some one to talk to or if you feel unsafe, I am only one call away." Jack says in the hug "I will be sure to" I say pulling out of the hug giving him a smile "Ok then, bye" He says walking out of the door "Bye" I say then I close the door and I head to Hannah, Jenna, and Bianca's room. "Are any of you guys free today?" I ask "Uh I am hanging out with Zach today, sorry" Hannah says "So am I expect not Zach, Jonah" b says "I am free I just have that date tonight" Jenna says "Wanna hang today then?" I ask "Sure" Jenna says giving me a smile So I walk out of the room and wait for Fariha to get out of the shower. When she finally does I go in and shower and then I change my clothes

After I am done I head to Jenna's room and no one else is in there, Jenna is in the shower I am guessing cause I hear the water running and I am guessing that Hannah and B already left. So I just sit in Jenna's bed and I hear the shower turn off and then there is a silence. The next thing I know Jenna comes out of the bathroom fully clothed and we are on our way out. We both head to Panera for lunch and then we will figure out what we will do as the day goes on. Once we arrive at Panera order our food and sit down. Then our buzzer starts buzzing so we get our food and sit down. Me and Jenna just talk for a bit then someone decides to interrupt our conversation.
