Michael sat on the floor in front of Jeremy, helping him lace up his rollerskates. The two sat in silence, the only noise coming from the light buzz of the other people.

Michael finished lacing Jeremy's skates and stood up, plopping down on the bench beside his best friend. He put on his rollerblades and laced them up. He steadily stood up, and turned to Jeremy.

"You ready, Jer'?" He asked, his dark brown eyes sparkling.

"Y-Yeah," Jeremy said, trying to hide the fact he was nervous. He had never been rollerskating before, and he didn't want to embarrass himself.

Jeremy pushed himself up from the bench, wobbiling and nearly crashing to the floor, not knowing how to walk with wheels practically strapped to his feet.

Michael laughed and helped steady Jeremy. He stood behind Jeremy, his hands on his shoulders, and helped Jeremy onto the rink.

"You got this?" Michael asked, stopping the two of them before they rolled out too far.

Jeremy nodded, his knees wobbiling as Michael let go. Michael skated out farther, and he was mesmerized by how fast he could move on rollerblades.

Jeremy looked down at his feet, his legs still unsteady. He attempted to push himself away, the way Michael had, and skate too.

He moved too quickly and fell, letting out a soft grunt as he hit the wooden floor. He picked his head up and looked around for Michael, silently begging that he hadn't seen him fall. The tips of his ears were beginning to grow hot with embarrassment.

Luckily, Michael hadn't seen him. He was too busy twirling around and showing off to no one. Jeremy blushed; he was so adorable and carefree.

Jeremy attempted to stand up, shakily climbing back to his feet. More slowly, he attempted to skate again. His arms stuck out awkwardly as he practically inched his way around, still wobbily and unsure of himself.

He eventually made it to one of the walls, desperately clinging to it to keep himself steady. He held onto the wall, trying to figure out how to skate in these cursed wheel shoes.

Michael eventually noticed Jeremy helplessly holding onto a wall, wobbiling and trying to skate. He smiled, trying to choke back a laugh. He looked so... So cute. Michael's cheeks turned red and he skated over to Jeremy.

"You look like a newborn deer learning to walk," He teased. Jeremy's face grew flushed with embarassment.

"Sh-Shut up.." He muttered.

Michael laughed. "Here, let me help." Michael helped spin Jeremy around, and held him by his shoulders. He began to back up, leading Jeremy out to the rink with him. "Steady, now. I got you." He murmured.

Jeremy stared into Michael's eyes as he watched their feet move, his face growing hot.

Michael eventually let go and backed away a few feet. "Okay," he said with a smile, "Try skating towards me."

Jeremy nodded and took a deep breath, not wanting to embarrass himself. He slowly began to skate toward his best friend, trying to keep himself steady as he did. He was doing surprisingly well, until...

Another person at the rink skated by, bumping into Jeremy as they did. Jeremy lost his balance and crashed to the floor.

"Jer'!" Michael exclaimed, crouching down. "Are you alright?"

Jeremy was still flustered from the fall and clearly embarrassed. He looked panicked for a moment and tried to find what to say, and in a moment of embarrassment, he blurted out, "I think I'm falling for you!"

Immediantly after he said that, his face grew scarlet, mortified that some cheesy pick up-line was the first thing that came to mind. He frantically began to apologize before giving up and burrying his bright red face into his hands with a groan.

Michael was doubled over, laughing hysterically. Eventually, he was laughing so hard that he had fallen down onto his butt, clutching his stomach.

"Where-" He managed to say through his fit of laughter, "Where did that come from?"

As his laughter ceased, he helped Jeremy back to his feet. "C'mon, I guess that's enough skating today."

Michael helped the still-red Jeremy off the rink and took his skates off, a huge grin still plastered on his face.

"We are never going skating again.." Jeremy said.
