Chapter 12

"What was that about" Grayson says. Julian told me not to tell anyone and he made it clear.

"He just apologized" which isn't a lie.

"Then why did you scream?"

"Because he usually never apologizes. And I wasn't expecting it."

We head back over to the tables and we all just sit at one. It's less complicated. Plus I need to figure out if Julian told me the truth. We talk and talk for about an hour and then head out.

"Want me to take you home?" Grayson offers me and liv.

Of course we say yes and we all say goodbye to Julian and cole. They look pissed. Liv has this huge smile plastered on her face and I tell her not to make it so obvious. Geesh. We get in the car and we're in the back. Liv wanted me to sit back here cause she's nervous. Grayson's driving and this one song comes on the I like. I take a Snapchat vid of Grayson driving and the one part where it says 'left hand is steering other is gripping you're thigh' he puts his fucking hand on my thigh. Legit.

My hand shakes and the video goes everywhere. Then I save it to my eyes only. At first it scared the shit out of me. Then I look at Liv and give her a huge smile. And I have butterflies in my stomach right now. She tells me not to make it too obvious. The whole car ride I had butterflies in my stomach.

"Wanna go to our place instead for the night? Our parents aren't home then we can just drive you to school tomorrow" Ethan says. We're already almost at my place and me and liv will just borrow my stuff.

"Sure why not!" We both say. Liv has never been to their house. I have never been past their living room. I text my mom saying that we're sleeping over at Bella's house and that I'll be home to get my stuff and then she's picking us up to go to her house. They don't really care because we've known them for a while and I'm close with her. Liv does the same. Plus her mom is like the cool one that will dodge a bullet for us.

We get to my house and me and liv go inside while gray and e are waiting. We go into my room and pick out clothes and stuff.

"I'm scared" Liv says. She looks so nervous.

"Don't be. It will be okay. I promise." I say while getting my stuff. We get it all ready and head down. We get into the car and go to there house.

We pull into their driveway and liv looks out the window and back at me with her mouth hanging open. I mouth 'I know!' And we get out of the car. We head inside and Ethan takes Liv for a tour. Me and Grayson are alone. And what do I do? Plop on their couch.

"I'm pooped. I'm making my self comfortable"

"Good. I want you to be comfortable" he said. He lifts up my legs, sits down and then put my legs on his thighs. He turns on the tv and liv and Ethan come back down. I gotta sit up because they want to sit.

"You guys want to watch a movie?" Grayson says while flipping through the channels.

"Sure why not. Well get the popcorn and you pick a movie". Me and liv head over to the kitchen and Ethan tells us where the popcorn is and we make it.

"This is going really well laney" Liv says.

"I told you so" and I winked at her.

We get the popcorn and sit down. It's Grayson on the end, me, liv, and then Ethan. We watched a scary movie. I lean on Grayson and he doesn't mind. I get scared a few times and hugged Grayson for comfort. He just laughed at me. I was getting pretty tired but I was determined to finish the movie. It was about 2 am. I close my eyes for a minute and I didn't open them for the rest of the night.
