Chapter 29

What the hell?" It's my mom. Why is she home so early?!

I was too busy with my memories of us that I didn't hear the door unlock and open. We quickly part and sit next to each other.

"Mom why are you home so early?" I say laughing nervously and she goes to the kitchen to drop her stuff off.

"I have a meeting so I stopped home" she peeks over the couch and looks at Grayson. And says hi.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"I didn't think that was Grayson. I kinda thought you were making out with someone other than him. It scared me." She says and I'm touched but she thinks I would do that?! Well I have in the past with my ex and his friend. I'm not proud at all.

"Oh I wouldn't do that. Do you even care that we were making out mom?" I look at him and smile.

"Eh not really. Your dating so it doesn't really matter to me that much. That's the farthest your allowed to do though young lady"

"Okay" me and Grayson laugh.

"I'm serious guys. Anyway I'm going to get changed and head out. Your dad is meeting me there so you don't have to worry about him coming here like I did" she says and then laughs and goes upstairs.

"Uh what happened to the movie?" Grayson says.

"Uh good question." It was a black screen. Must of kissed through the rest of the movie.

"That movie was stupid anyway" he says and mom comes down and said bye and leaves. We watch her leave and as soon as she gets out the door we make out again. She comes in again and we part.

"I forgot my keys!" She gets them. "Okay bye I swear I won't be back" we all laugh. She leaves and we kiss again. And then liv calls me.

"Ugh so many interruptions" I say and walk over to answer it and put it on speaker.

"Wanna go out to eat? Just us two since we haven't done that in a while" I look at Grayson and he tells me to go mouthing words. and I mouth back if he's sure and he said yea.
"Sure why not. Where we going?"
"Let's do applebees"
"Okay meet you there in 20"
"Okay bye!!"

Grayson makes his way over to me to say goodbye.

"Are you sure?! I can say no"

"No don't. It's okay I promise. Plus it's good that you two are gonna have some time alone"

"Thank you. We'll finish later when theres no distractions" I say and kiss him. And then he leaves. I go upstairs and I have to change. I can't wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt. I change into a cute pineapple crop top, leggings, and my converse. I don't bother with makeup but I put some hoops in and a necklace on. I get some money out of my wallet and head out.

I get to Applebee's and she's already here. I park next to her and we get seated in a booth. We order our drinks and food and talk.

"I'm surprised you came." She said to me.

"Why wouldn't I come?! I can't pass up an opportunity to hang out with my bestie"

"I thought you'd be with Grayson since you were telling him about what happened three years ago."

"Well I was but he said it was okay if I came and I told him about it."

"What did he say?"

"Uh not much. We just cried for me basically"

"Oh wow. I never thought he'd cry"

"Yea me neither" our food came out and we stopped our conversation to eat.
