"Get in there" he said, harshly shoving Aurora into the wall, slamming the cell door shut. She slumped against the wall. The bars were thin, but she could still see the two cells next to her. This section of the hospital was meant specifically for people with this disease. That's how serious it was. "Now you better get some sleep, before you're brought in for testing".

"Testing?" Aurora said, confused. She already had the disease, what else more did they need to know?

"You have shown symptoms, but we don't know for sure yet if you're infected. Get some rest now".

Aurora reluctantly obeyed and lied down on the mattress. It was covered in stains and felt as if it was mostly made of springs. It had a small, thin blanket that she used to cover her legs. Aurora slept on her arms to keep them warm, even though they would be asleep in the morning. She looked at the grey ceiling, paint chipping to reveal an off-white behind it. The cell was tiny, about three times the size of the mattress she was laying on now. Aurora could barely fit on it.

She slept uncomfortably, but slept nonetheless. Aurora woke up by hearing a familiar sounding voice. She was confused at first, but then as the moment of realization swept her mind she felt a deep pain settle in her stomach. That can't be...

Aurora looked to her side, remembering she could see the cell next to me. "Let me be, I'm not infected!" he said as the guard struggled to get him into the cell.

"We'll leave that up to the doctor today" the guard replied, slamming his door shut. He walked away, making a clomping sound with his thick boots. Aurora looked at the cell next to her's. The person in that cell next to her was someone she was grateful to be around right now. But he was also the last person Aurora would've ever wanted to see here.
