"So, why am I here you ask? Let me tell you all about it" the man on stage began. "My name is Theodore McGlider, I have created a top secret dome environment, aka the TSDE, to train two armies. Right now the person standing right next to you could be your worst enemy in a couple months". Aurora and James worryingly looked over to each other as Theodore continued.

"You will be in training until you pass the final test. Said test will determine whether you are ready to enter the war or not. We have kept this secret because this is how we determine what to reveal to our people. One side fights for truth and knowledge, the other for safety and secrecy. Let me introduce my friend here, I'm sure you've all met him before...".

The doctor walked out on stage, greeting the crowd with a humble wave. "Hello my patients. Yes it is true... none of you really are sick. I know this may seem a bit cruel, but we believe it's for the best".

Yeah, to your benefit,
Aurora thought sourly.

"I brought you all here because you are worthy and strong enough to fight for the ones too weak. You see, whoever wins the war all in the end gets to live, and gets to go back home. After your training you will be divided into armies, Savrik and Jarile. Jarile fights for secrecy, if they win they go back home, but can tell no one the truth. If Savrik wins, they will go home and tell everyone what's really happening behind this nameless disease. At the end of the war, two people on opposing sides will be left with the sickening thoughts. All memories repressed will come back up again and they will take on the sad memories of people being dragged away from their families. Only one person can take on the memories on each side, so the strongest will take on the sickening thoughts. So far, Jarile has won all wars. Let's see who will make a difference. It's time to begin training. Head West and follow your two leaders, William and Giselle. They will lead you to the different training rooms and will answer any questions you may have when you get there."

Aurora and James looked at each other, then followed the large crowd of people. When they finally got to their destination, the two leaders stopped in front of a large building. It didn't look like the others. It was a small house built out of stone with a red roof, smoke coming out the top. There was a small window next to a brown wooden door, left unpainted. They walked through and the smell of dusty books and cardboard hit them. It smelled like an old attic that had been abandoned for a few years. Giselle reached over the wall and clicked a button. "Hold on tight" she warned as the floor below us split. Some people yelped in surprise as they fell down.

"What's going on?" Aurora shouted as James turned to look out her.

"I don't know!!!" He replied. They locked arms and tightly closed their eyes. There was a giant flash and they fell on the floor. They looked up to see a completely different place before. Almost as if it was...

Magic.
