Chapter 10

How did I end up with such a perfect girl like Kristen? She's outshines the stars in the night sky and I'm just me, and some how that's good enough for her. 

I take in the beautiful sight of this girl in my arms before moving her gently onto the bed and going to the kitchen. I softly place her head down onto a pillow and creep out of the room. I shut the door behind me as I exit.

I head down the stairs and into the kitchen. I find Jc snacking on some potato chips and I decide to join him.

"Hey," he says as I pull out the seat next to him.

"Hey," I casually reply and take a seat.

"So, what's up with you and Kris?" Jc asks and plops a chip into his mouth. 

"I think you're going to hate me," I half joke, will Jc be mad?

"Let me guess, you're back together?" Jc questions with a smug look on his face.

"Um, yeah," I say and scratch the back of my neck.

"Well, first of all I don't hate you, you two belong together, always have and always will. Second of all, what are you going to do with Andrea?"

"Well I saw a photo of her kissing Nash and-" I start but Jc cuts me off.

"Does that asshole try to ruin every relationship in the damn YouTube community?!" Jc partially shouts.

"Guess so," I frown and continue "Nash and Andrea kissed and I wasn't planning on doing anything with Kris while Andrea and I were still... Whatever we were. But then I saw the picture and I got mad so I just let it happen. It started out as an act of jealousy but Jc please believe me, it was so much more than that."

"I know Jack, you and Kris have always been solid. We all knew she would come back whether you wanted to admit it or not," he half laughs.

"Am I terrible person for this?" I ask him seriously.

"Honestly, no. Andrea was a small rebound from Kristen, a very small one. I wouldn't have been that mad about it if I actually thought you two could love each other," Jc explains and I finally see where he's coming from.

"It's kind of weird to think I had a rebound girl," I laugh.

"We all have had a rebound girl," Jc tells me and I immediatly think of when him and Lia broke up.

"Who was your rebound girl?" I challenge.

"I'm not sure if she was a rebound girl..." Jc trails off. Has he been seeing someone?

"Spit it out," I tease.

"I've been seeing someone since Lia and I broke up," he says. He's been seeing someone for more than a year and he hasn't said anything. It couldn't be a rebound girl if they've been dating for a year. He didn't even love Lia.

"Who?" I excitedly ask.

"I don't want to say," he tells me.

"Tell me now!" I scowl.

"No," he barks.

"20 questions?" I try to come to an agreement. 20 questions has always been the easiest access to information that nobody actually wanted to admit.

"Fine," he agrees.

"Okay, is she a blonde?" I ask.

"Yeah, kind of like a dishwater blonde," he tells me and I think I already know who it is.

"Do a lot of people ship you with this person?" I grin.

"Yes," he says with his lips pressed into a straight line.

"Does that ship name happen to be JcPenny?" I tease.

"Yes," Jc finally gives in and covers his face with his hands.

"Oh my god!" I shout. Jenn is like my little sister and I love both her and Jc to death but I can't wrap my head around the idea of them as a couple.

"It's not a big deal," Jc pouts.

"Not a big deal? It's totally big deal!"

"Just don't tell anyone?" Jc begs.

"Why not?" It's my turn to pout.

"I just want to keep my private life, well private," he explains.

"I get that, I really do. But why won't you tell the guys and your friends?"

"It's just so much easier to keep it from the fans if we keep it from you guys too. Right now me, Jenn, and you are the only people who know and I hope it'll stay that way," he almost asks.

"I promise, it will."

After talking for about an hour longer with Jc I head back upstairs to see Kristen. She needs to be done getting ready by now right? It's been a little over an hour.

"Hey Kris," I say and knock on the bathroom door.

"Yeah! Just a second," she tells me and after a few moments she exits the bathroom with new brown hair perfectly straightened.

"You look great," I compliment her.

"Thanks," she says and her cheeks blush. It's adorable how even after being together for more than a year she still blushes when I compliment her.

"So what do you want to do today? It's not very late yet so we still have time to go somewhere," I tell her. I wish I actually knew what there was to do around here.

"I'm not sure, I don't really live here yet," she laughs.

"Well... Jc can you come here for a minute!" I shout and Kris laughs. "Hey I've only been here for a few days," I defend.

"Be right up!" Jc shouts back. I hear footsteps coming towards us and I then see Jc turn the corner from the staircase.

"Hey so what's there to do around here?" I ask.

"Honestly all I really do is make videos and hang at the beach. But if you're looking for something kind of different than our usual stuff there is a club that just opened up a few miles away. They normally have a band playing, no huge bands yet but people have said it's pretty cool. I know that Ricky knows someone who can get you in, it's a 21 and over club and Ricky has gotten some younger people in," Jc explains and when he first mentioned it I thought it was an awful idea but there is a band at I'm out of ideas.

"What's it called?" I ask.

"I think it's called Spin but Ricky will need to tell you for sure, I haven't been there yet."

"Spin?" I ask and turn to Kristen.

"Spin," she nods.

After thanking Jc and talking to Ricky I know exactly where the club is and how to get in. I make the last right turn needed and I can already here the loud music coming from the club. Once I drive a little further up the road all I see are plain and dark buildings until I spot the club. I see the windows all light up and the occasional light flash out of the window and onto a car or another building.

"Guess this is the place," I laugh.

"Guess so," Kristen says nervously.

(I hope you enjoyed! And Kristen will be Lily Collins, specifically looking like the part she played in the movie Abduction. I know it was short but I haven't updated in a few days and I'm trying not to rush it as much as I have been, especially because the next part I have in mind is going to be a little bit crazy!)
